    Zabbix provides an all-in-one solution to gather virtually limitless types of data from the network. High performance real-time monitoring means that tens of thousands of servers, virtual machines and network devices can be monitored simultaneously. Along with storing the data, visualization features are available (overviews, maps, graphs, screens, etc), as well as very flexible ways of analyzing the data for the purpose of alerting.     An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Open a Web browser and type the public DNS name provided by Amazon into the URL bar.

    • Login to the admin section with the default user "admin".
    • A random password will be generated and placed in /home/ec2-user/zbx_pass. SSH into your instance as the ec2-user user and run "cat zbx_pass".
