Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Access the administration console via a browser at http://<public_dns>:8080. The default password is randomly generated and written in the configuration file on your node. To connect to the operating system, use SSH and the username ec2-user. The quasardb node is bound to the localhost interface and the quasardb shell can be invoked in typing "qdbsh --user-credentials-file=/etc/qdb/qdbsh_private.key --cluster-public-key=/var/share/qdb/cluster_public.key". You may want to edit the configuration file to take advantage of the ephemeral drives, if any. For further information, please refer to the documentation.
