AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance size you choose to run this Matomo stack. Pricing scales with compute capacity, not features. Burstable T2 and T3 sizes suit lighter or variable workloads, while T3a options offer a similar range. M5 sizes target general-purpose workloads, and C5 sizes target compute-heavy needs. Within each family, hourly rates rise as you move from smaller to larger instances. Billing is pay-as-you-go with no term commitment, so you are charged only while a stack runs. AWS hosting charges are billed separately from the software.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I actually get with each hourly instance rate?
Each rate covers a preconfigured stack: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, Matomo 5.x, Apache, NGINX, MySQL, PHP, and phpMyAdmin. It also includes the A51 monitoring and control dashboard, assigned modules, and deployment support. The instance size you pick sets the compute capacity behind that stack.
Am I charged when I stop or delete the stack?
No. Billing is pay-as-you-go, metered per hour the stack runs. When you stop the stack, the software charges stop. You will still incur separate AWS hosting charges for any AWS resources you keep active, such as storage. There is no monthly subscription and no term commitment.
Are AWS hosting fees part of this hourly price?
No. The hourly rate you see covers the aMiSTACX software only. AWS bills you separately and directly for the underlying hosting. You can lower that AWS portion using AWS reserved pricing, which is arranged with AWS, not through this listing.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

First off, great service from Amistacx. Customer support is quick when needed.
Onto Matomo, simply brilliant. So much more in depth than GA and far more intuitive delivering the information you need from your analytics very simply through their dashboard. Helped us identify 404 issues and resolve them.
Tag manager is also great, super easy to set up tags either featured or custom and has not had a detrimental impact on page speed.

Was tired of GA, and found Piwik a great alternative. This AWS Piwik AMI was very much up and running with a few clicks, and I was also able to upgrade to the latest version once I had the stack up and running. [I was not able to do that with the other brand name :-) as it gave me errors.]
Game-on
Up and running in 5 minutes!

Exactly like the video. SSL feature was great and this stack is tuned for mico. Saved me a lot of time. Thanks!
