Trusted by data-driven companies, Sigma provides direct, live access to CDWs (e.g. Redshift, Snowflake) via the Sigma Spreadsheet interface without ever moving data out of the CDW, allowing security, governance, and compliance to be centrally enforced. Sigma is the Single Source of Truth for data throughout an organization because any work (e.g. data sets, modeling, analysis) done in Sigma can be written back to the CDW and leveraged in any other internal or external application or system.
The Sigma Spreadsheet empowers anyone to create complex data analysis without ever writing a single line of code while SQL is automatically generated under the hood, freeing analysts and data teams to focus on more complex, innovative projects. The familiar, easy-to-use interface transforms the A&BI process by eliminating the need to change the data model as more questions are asked and making data exploration an iterative process. What do you like best about the product?
I like Sigma's ease of use and speed, which makes it a great tool for handling dashboards. I appreciate the features it offers, especially the 'write back' capability that allows communication with my database. The ability to talk to consumers while writing back is also something I find valuable. Additionally, the initial setup was pretty smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Joins sometimes have long load times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sigma for visibility and reporting with dashboards. It's easy and fast, and I like the write back feature that communicates with my database.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that with Sigma, my data is directly linked which means there's no need for refreshing, and there's absolutely no lag. The ease of initial setup was a breeze, it was really easy peasy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the SharePoint integration could be improved with Sigma. I'd like it if they included it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma directly links data with no refreshing or lag, effectively replacing Palantir Foundry.

I like Sigma for its ease of use, which makes it very accessible. The initial setup was also very easy, which was a big plus for me.

I find the Sankey charts lacking because there's no option to choose color per stage value.
