Overview
Druva provides a SaaS platform that radically simplifies backup, recovery, and DR of modern workloads in remote offices, data centers, and the cloud. Start protecting files (Windows, Linux, Amazon FSx, Amazon EFS), VMs (VMware, Hyper-V, Amazon EC2, Azure VM), DBs (Oracle/MS-SQL), and NAS storage wherever they run in minutes with no software, hardware, or support contracts. Druva scales on demand to protect 1000s of systems and PBs of data with secure, offsite storage of data for compliance and DR. By reducing complexity and infrastructure dependencies Druva can cut your data protection TCO by up to 40% compared to legacy solutions.
- Intuitive and easy user experience: Built-in workflow templates to configure and schedule policies globally or regionally with role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Massive storage reduction: Global source deduplication reduces network bandwidth and storage utilization across cloud storage tiers.
- Automated long-term retention: Tier unique blocks to cold storage or backup large files directly to AWS S3 Glacier.
- More than ransomware protection: Go beyond protection to detect, respond, and recover faster.
- One-click Cloud DR: Enhances business resilience with automated and orchestrated failover/failback and unlimited testing.
Druva Phoenix Business: All workloads, 1-2 sites Druva Phoenix Enterprise: Multiple sites, admins, & regions, DRaaS (option)
Highlights
- SaaS backup & recovery reduces costs up to 40% by eliminating complexity and costs found in legacy backup solutions. Global deduplication, automated tiering for long-term retention, and archiving to cold storage drive greater storage savings.
- Cloud DR: Enhance backup and recovery with seamless failover of VMs into customer-owned Amazon VPC. When a disaster occurs, backup snapshots are used to launch Amazon EC2 instances which can recover any number of VMs in under 30 minutes.
- Safe & secure: Zero-trust architecture eliminates SSH access to production nodes. Backup data encrypted in-flight (TLS) and at rest (AES-256) with unique keys controlled by customers. Nothing executes on storage, thwarting ransomware.

Great solution, great company
We recently switched over to Druva from another backup provider in favor of the native AWS capabilities, ease of use, and great account and customer support. The product has been tremendous in our ability to manage multiple environments for multiple customers!
Easy Backup Solution
We recently migrated backup to Druva cloud backup. its easy to configure and manage the backup. it fulfills all our requirement and saves the cost of purchasing new hardware. it eliminates complexity of managing global backup infrastructure.
Druva from MarketPlace
In my role i was able to purchase the product for the various teams from the AWS Marketplace. Very simple process and bottom-line saves the company money and assists in our overall AWS commitment.
Good File Backup Solution
We switched to Druva Phoenix a few months ago. So far it has met most of our needs. Setup was extremely easy. It only took me a few hours to backup most of our servers. The solution is very fast and reliable while still having a very reasonable cost. Their data deduplication feature not only saves us money but it allowed us to be aware of how much duplicated data we had and was able to clean it up.
I gave the product 4 stars because it currently does only file and MS-SQL backups. I would like to see a system state backup which I am told is coming. If it had that then it would cover all of our needs.
The savings are real and this stuff works!!
We started looking into cloud backups after multiple acquisitions resulted in expensive and diverse backup scheme's across our enterprise. We needed a simple, inexpensive and scalable solution. We found that with Phoenix. Many of the other solutions we evaluated required us to manage our own infrastructure, yet they called themselves “backup solutions”; which really was just servers running on EC2 or supporting cloud storage endpoints. Further, and likely most importantly, the backup strategy they used wasn't as efficient as Druva’s Phoenix. The magic sauce that makes me so confident in this is the incremental forever and deduplication technology that Druva has invented. Where other technologies required taking full backups at set intervals (weekly/monthly) Druva doesn’t, after the initial seeding, it's always an incremental. The result is, lower cloud storage costs over time, shorter backup windows, and less requirements for bandwidth.
