Overview
SoftEther VPN Server implements the VPN server function. It listens and accepts connections from VPN Client or VPN Bridge with several VPN protocols.
This Image comes with a pre-configured and maintained SoftEther VPN Server that has been pre-test for readiness to work and compatibility with AWS Cloud. Tidal Media Inc. hardened this SotftEther VPN Server Image to meet all security and enterprise standards and provide you with the instantaneous deployment of VPN Server in EC2 Environments.

Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each hourly unit is one running EC2 instance of the size you pick. The VPN software carries no separate license fee. Your charge tracks the compute hours of the chosen instance type, from small burstable sizes to larger memory- and compute-focused machines. You pay for each hour the instance runs.
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. A stopped instance stops accruing those hourly charges. Underlying AWS storage fees for the volume may still apply while stopped. To end all compute charges, terminate or power off the instance fully.
Smaller instances suit light use with few connections. Larger memory- and compute-focused sizes handle more concurrent VPN connections and throughput. The software supports common VPN protocols and NAT-based routing. Match the instance to your expected connection count, then relaunch on a different size if your needs change.

The software works as expected and I'm happy with the performance, but is very misleading saying this is Free. Because it isn't. You pay for the software + the EC2 instance. Is ok I knew the EC2 instance was not free, but you end-up paying $14/month for the software, now looking back it might make sense not to be free. but the Title FREE VPN SERVER is not very honest.
