What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to build a flow, even for non-technical people.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s very expensive, and it’s difficult to manage when dealing with huge volumes of data.

Workato acts as middleware between different systems and helps integrate them with each other.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to use, abstracts away a lot of code, and offers plenty of connectors for common SAS apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a few limitations, such as not supporting recursion and similar features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it is abstracting a lot of code and deployment and maintenance efforts and also saves a lot of time and enables to actually focus on whole logic rather than also dealing with writing it in code

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Workato acts as a middleware tool and connects to a lot of other systems like Workday, Okta, Concur, Salesforce, and Snowflake, enabling us to leverage custom MCPs organization-wide and use them as building blocks for various projects. The ability to expose Workato workflows as MCP endpoints is particularly empowering for building an AI-native integration layer. I also love the ability to create MCPs, AI-Agents using Genies, and APIM, which provide everything needed to build a strong enterprise integration layer. Creating AI Agents that automate many manual processes has been beneficial, allowing us to focus on more critical thinking tasks. Additionally, the initial setup of Workato was easy, thanks to its design and the inbuilt connectors that help simplify the process, alongside the ability to create our own custom connectors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably, the APIM layer is something that could be improved and the ability to debug more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workato helps us create MCP connectors for seamless integration with Salesforce, Outlook, and more. It supports building an AI-native integration layer and allows creating AI Agents for automating processes, which helps focus on critical thinking tasks.

Managing Workato at scale exposes some real gaps. There’s no centralized view of MCP servers, their tools, or usage metrics, so auditing what’s deployed and how it’s being used ends up requiring custom tooling built f

Before Workato, employees had to navigate multiple enterprise systems on their own for routine tasks. Now we route those requests through a single AI assistant built on Workato Genie, covering Workday, ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, and more.

What do you like best about the product?
The development effort required to build an automation or integration in Workato is much lower compared to other iPaaS tools. Workato offers many features and actions that make development easier and more straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
The logging in the API platform needs improvement. For example, we encountered a 502 Bad Gateway issue and wanted to resolve it, but it was difficult to trace the root cause because detailed logs—especially network- and connection-related logs—weren’t available. We ended up contacting Workato support (customer success partners) to get access to the detailed network logs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing an API in Workato is much easier, and the straightforward integration flows make it simple for us to understand how the integration works. The formula features also help with data transformation, and the file storage option lets us store files in Workato, which helps avoid needing an external connection or separate space to store files and data.
