Secure, cost-effective observability for APM, Logs, and Infrastructure. Native OpenTelemetry support, self-hosted in your AWS VPC for total data control and up to 80% cost savings.
CubeAPM is a full-stack observability platform designed to help engineering teams monitor applications, infrastructure, and user experience without the high costs and privacy concerns of traditional SaaS tools. Built natively on OpenTelemetry, CubeAPM offers a unified view of traces, logs, and metrics, allowing for faster troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
With CubeAPM, you can deploy the entire platform within your own AWS VPC or infrastructure. This ensures that sensitive telemetry data never leaves your environment, providing complete data sovereignty and compliance with standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001. The platform handles enterprise-grade scale, processing millions of traces and petabytes of data while maintaining performance and reliability.
Key features include Application Performance Monitoring (APM) with AI-based sampling, centralized Log Management with unlimited retention, real-time Infrastructure Monitoring for hosts and Kubernetes, Real User Monitoring (RUM), and Synthetic Monitoring. CubeAPM's predictable pricing model significantly reduces observability costs, making it an ideal solution for high-growth teams seeking efficiency and control.

This platform uses a single usage-based dimension billed per gigabyte (GB) of data. You pay for the volume of telemetry data you send, such as logs, traces, and metrics. There are no separate charges for hosts, users, or individual monitoring products. Your cost scales directly with data usage: more data means a higher bill, less data lowers it. This pay-as-you-go structure ties spend to actual observability data ingested, so you only pay for what you use.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as billable data usage for the per-GB charge?
You are billed per gigabyte of telemetry data sent to the platform. This includes logs, traces, and metrics ingested from your applications and infrastructure. Data is collected through agents that forward this telemetry. Each gigabyte received counts toward your usage total for that billing period.
How does my bill change if my data volume goes up or down?
Your cost tracks data volume directly. When you send more telemetry, your per-gigabyte charges rise. When you send less, they fall. There are no fixed charges for hosts, users, or separate monitoring products. Billing follows a pay-as-you-go model, so you pay only for the data ingested.
Are monitoring features like tracing, logs, and alerting billed separately from data usage?
No. The single per-gigabyte charge covers your data usage. Monitoring capabilities such as distributed tracing, log management, infrastructure monitoring, and error tracking are not billed as separate line items. Your only variable cost is the volume of telemetry data you send to the platform.
