Use "sudo su - " to switch to root.

To start/stop/status Service: sudo systemctl start/stop/status tomcat
Tomcat Port : 8080 this is by default not allowed on cloud firewall for security.
Please allow SSH port 22 and Tomcat port 8080 to limited IPs for access.
