You buy this product through a contract with three volume tiers, each defined by a monthly transaction ceiling. Small covers up to 100,000 transactions, Medium up to 500,000, and Large up to 1,000,000. Pick the tier that matches your expected volume. One transaction is counted for each geocoding or reverse geocoding request you send. Pricing scales with the transaction ceiling you commit to, not the specific addresses or coordinates processed. Choose a larger tier as your request volume grows.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one transaction for billing?
One transaction is counted for every geocoding or reverse geocoding request you send to the API. The count is based on requests made, not on how many addresses or coordinates each request returns. Your monthly total is the sum of all requests against your tier ceiling.
What happens if my monthly request volume exceeds the tier ceiling I selected?
Each tier caps you at a set monthly transaction ceiling: Small at 100,000, Medium at 500,000, Large at 1,000,000. To handle more volume, you move to a tier with a larger ceiling. Choose the tier that fits your expected monthly request count before you commit.
Does this contract include permanent geocoding or address discovery search features?
This listing covers geocoding and reverse geocoding transactions only. Permanent geocoding is a separate offering not included here. Discovery search, autosuggest, and autocomplete are also billed separately and are not part of these three transaction tiers. Contact the vendor for capabilities beyond geocoding and reverse geocoding.
