Hilight is a tool that helps schools and districts highlight the amazing work that their teachers and staff are doing every period of every day. Using Hilight, schools and districts can capture the meaningful moments that too often go unnoticed so that they can be seen, celebrated, learned from, and shared across an entire school or district community. Hilight has four key components: 1) Staff-to-staff recognition aligned to your core values. 2) Individual, school-level, and district-level feeds. 3) Meaningful and streamlined rewards. 4) Strengths-based culture data proving to educators that they are having a positive impact. Customizable by district and by school, these four components work together to drive collective teacher efficacy, sense of purpose, satisfaction, and retention. All school and district staff members (teachers, principals, custodians, superintendent, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, counselors, security officers, etc.) can use Hilight on both their computer and their mobile device. By creating a way for all staff members to share the highlights happening around them everyday, Hilight captures powerful insights into the positive work happening everyday, bringing out the best in your teachers and staff, so they can bring out the best in your students and schools.

Vendor refund policy
If you wish to cancel your Services, Hilight will offer you a complete refund when you cancel your Services within 48 hours after payment in the AWS Marketplace (the "Refund Period"). Thereafter, Hilight does not offer refunds. To cancel your service and request a refund, you must contact AWS Marketplace customer support. Except as otherwise explicitly indicated by Hilight, all fees hereunder are non-cancelable and non-refundable.

Software as a Service (SaaS)
SaaS delivers cloud-based software applications directly to customers over the internet. You can access these applications through a subscription model. You will pay recurring monthly usage fees through your AWS bill, while AWS handles deployment and infrastructure management, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless integration with other AWS services.

Vendor support
The Hilight Support Team can be reached at support@hilightedu.com . Our support team strives to respond to any questions or requests that arise as quickly as possible. A response can be expected within 1 business day, if not sooner. During the implementation and rollout periods, the support team provides additional support and faster response times, including at least one customization planning meeting with the school / district administrative team, and an onboarding training for a small group or an entire staff. We provide a phone number during these periods that can be used to more immediately address any questions or requests during business hours (8am - 6pm EST).
AWS infrastructure support
AWS Support is a one-on-one, fast-response support channel that is staffed 24x7x365 with experienced and technical support engineers. The service helps customers of all sizes and technical abilities to successfully utilize the products and features provided by Amazon Web Services.
