ID.me provides identity proofing, authentication, and community affiliation verification. It does so today for federal government agencies, state agencies, and hundreds of private sector companies. ID.me's consumer-centric, privacy enhancing, omni-channel model increases equitable access to online services. We are the only identity verification service to offer three pathways for verification online self serve, video chat, and in-person while conforming to the NIST federal Digital Identity Guidelines. ID.me's Identity Gateway maintains a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Moderate Authority to Operate (ATO). Our omnichannel, consumer-centric model helps public sector agencies and companies meeting security and equity objectives without compromise by achieving (1) regulatory compliance, (2) higher levels of assurance regarding identity of end-users, (3) higher access rates, and (4) workflow efficiencies.
