This listing has one pricing option, sold as a contract. You buy IBM OpenPages for IBM Cloud Pak for Data on AWS in units, with each unit covering 2 VPC. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose from. To scale coverage, you add more of the same unit. The platform runs on IBM Cloud Pak for Data and provides governance, risk, and compliance capabilities in one environment. Pricing does not vary by feature module; you commit to the unit quantity that matches your deployment needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one unit's coverage of 2 VPC mean for my deployment?
Each unit you buy covers two Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) on AWS. A VPC is an isolated network environment where your OpenPages deployment runs. Count the VPCs your deployment spans, then buy enough units to cover that number in pairs.
How do I scale coverage if my deployment grows beyond two VPCs?
You add more of the same unit. Each additional unit adds coverage for two more VPCs. There are no separate tiers or larger sizes to switch to. Scaling is manual: you commit to the unit quantity that matches your VPC count.
Does the price change based on which governance modules I use?
No. Pricing does not vary by module. The platform offers governance, risk, and compliance functions such as policy management, audit, operational risk, and regulatory compliance in one environment. Your cost depends on the unit quantity and VPC coverage, not on which capabilities you enable.

Powerful GRC Dashboards and Analytics, but Occasional Login and Update Issues

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about IBM OpenPages is its ability to centralize governance, risk, and compliance management in one platform. It provides powerful dashboards, automation, and analytics that help organizations identify risks early and ensure regulatory compliance efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly when we are trying to login sometimes I face issues like it won't login my account and still continues like that. Whenever we are applying s jobs in IBM we may face login issues and when we apply the job then it will not be updated so these are only the two problems faced by all the people who are applying for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM OpenPages solves the challenge of managing governance, risk, and compliance in a centralized system instead of multiple disconnected tools. It helps organizations identify and monitor risks, automate compliance workflows, and generate better reports. This benefits me by providing better visibility into risks, improving decision-making, and reducing manual effort.

Transforms Risk Management and Compliance

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about IBM OpenPages is the visibility it gives us into risk and compliance across the business. Instead of reacting to issues after they become problems, we can spot trends early and see where controls are breaking down. The dashboards and reporting make it easier to explain risk to leadership in a way that actually makes sense, not just in technical terms. I also appreciate how structured it is. It forces better discipline around risk assessments, issue management, and remediation, which has improved how teams follow processes. Once it’s set up properly, it becomes a reliable source of truth that people trust, especially during audits and reviews. One thing that works especially well with IBM OpenPages is how it supports long-term consistency. Once processes are defined and embedded, it’s easier to keep everyone aligned even as teams change or new requirements come in. That stability really helps during audits and reviews because there’s a clear trail of decisions, actions, and ownership. I also like how well it handles complex structures. If you’re dealing with multiple business units, risk categories, or regulatory frameworks, OpenPages can handle that without feeling patchy. Over time, it becomes less about just meeting compliance needs and more about improving how the organization actually thinks about risk.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is usability. IBM OpenPages is powerful, but it can feel heavy and complex, especially for new users or teams that only use it occasionally. There’s a learning curve, and some workflows take more clicks than they probably should. Customization can also be a bit challenging. While it’s flexible, making changes to fields, workflows, or reports often requires admin support and careful planning, which slows things down when business needs change. Reporting, in particular, could be more intuitive. You can get the data you need, but it sometimes takes extra effort to build reports that are clean and easy to use without relying on technical expertise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use IBM OpenPages to centralize risk and compliance, reducing fragmentation from spreadsheets and disconnected tools. It improves visibility into risk exposure, accountability for issues, and consistency in frameworks, making reporting reliable and decision-making easier.
