AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Pricing scales by the number of NIST fingerprint records your system holds. You pick the tier that matches your database size. The five tiers cover ranges from 0 to 200,000 records up through 751,000 to 1,000,000 records. Each higher band supports a larger record volume. This structure lets your agency match the contract to its current storage needs. As your records grow, you move into the next tier. All tiers deliver the same cloud-based biometric identification service under a subscription model.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one NIST record for choosing my pricing tier?
A NIST record is a stored biometric entry, such as a fingerprint or palm print submission, formatted to the NIST standard. Your tier reflects the total records held in your database. You select the band that matches your current record count, from 0 to 1,000,000.
What happens to my cost when my record count grows past my current tier?
Pricing is set by the band your record volume falls into. When your database grows beyond your current band, you move into the next tier that covers your new total. The tiers are defined ranges, so you match your contract to the band that fits your record count.
Does this subscription require dedicated hardware or on-premises servers?
No. The service is cloud-native and delivered as software as a service through AWS. You connect through a web browser from any location with no dedicated hardware to buy or maintain. The subscription covers the hosted biometric identification service across every record tier.
