AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance size you run. This listing bundles Apache NiFi with 24/7 security scanning and support from the vendor. Pricing scales with compute capacity, not features. All 22 options deliver the same software and support. They differ only by instance family and size. The t2 and t3 families suit lighter, burstable workloads. The m3, m4, and m5 families offer steadier, higher-capacity compute. Within each family, larger sizes cost more per hour. You choose the size that matches your data flow processing needs and pay only for hours used.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly rate for each instance size actually pay for?
You pay for one running EC2 instance of the chosen size, per hour. The rate covers the packaged Apache NiFi software plus 24/7 security scanning and support. Each instance size maps to a set amount of CPU and memory. Larger sizes give more compute capacity per hour.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or powered off?
Software charges meter running time only. A fully stopped or powered-off instance stops accruing hourly software fees. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage costs for attached volumes, but those are separate from this listing's per-hour software charge.
Can I move between instance sizes if my data flow needs change?
You choose the instance size that fits your workload. Because billing is per hour with no upfront commitment, you can stop one instance and launch another size when needs change. Your hourly rate then reflects the new size. The same software and support apply across all sizes.

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
