Overview
Suavei Internet Security allows you to perform a cybersecurity assessment on any device, VM or Server connected to an Amazon VPC, or on the public Internet.
The virtual scanner (provided as a Public AMI) works with your Suavei Internet Security account to provide you with a security risk rating as well as the potential impact analysis if your devices were compromised and recommendations to remediate and secure those devices.
You will still configure, schedule, and operate your cybersecurity assessments from Suavei's secure web UI, or through Suavei's rich REST API. You will also use those channels to see your scan results.
For new Suavei customers, a 14-day trial is available.
After that, billing is monthly and fully automatic from Amazon, based on the number of devices you're scanning/auditing -- you do not need to buy and bring your own license.

Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.

Vendor refund policy
Suavei offers free 14-day trials for the Suavei Internet Security service. During this period Suavei users will not be charged fees on top of the base Amazon EC2 instance fees. After this period, customers will start being charged hourly for use of the Scanner appliance and no refunds of the hourly charges are offered.

We use Suavei to secure our real estate and financial services office from cyber attack. Suavei detected several vulnerabilities on our network including a critical risk and trojan horse on our wireless devices. After detection of the vulnerabilities, Suavei guided us through the patches and updates needed to clear the risks and secure our network. We plan to run regular Suavei scans to keep our network secure.

We had the Suavei vulnerability scanner installed our hotel in Taipei, Taiwan to help secure not only our systems but those of our customers' who utilize our internet connection.
Despite having no dedicated IT staff, the Suavei team walked us non-techies through installation via teleconference. For an enterprise-level product, we were pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to get configured, even on "low-end" non-enterprise computing equipment. We also can't thank Suavei team for scheduling our meetings during regular business hours in Taiwan, which were at fairly odd hours for them.
Within minutes of installation, the Suavei scanner found a critical vulnerability on one of our front desk computers...the result of a missed OS update. Needless to say, we ran the update and rectified the issue immediately. It's great having a single tool running unobtrusively in the background continually identifying vulnerabilities for every single device that reside on our network. We can rest assured having an additional layer of defense for ours and our customers' data.

The installation went fairly smooth, as customer service was on Zoom throughout the process. The vulnerability scan was quick, comprehensive, and more importantly, detected a potentially disruptive threat to our company's network which we were able to mitigate. We plan to run periodic scans to keep our network secure.

We use SUAVEI to scan all our company AWS EC2 instances. I had a little trouble setting up the scanners the beginning but custom support was able to help me out in timely manner. The scanning results is very detailed and accurate and it helped us to prevent any potential security threats.
