What do you like best about the product?
I used this to replace traditional data security methods, and found that its direct-to-cloud approach offers improved performance. It provides strong protection against malicious activities, and I also noticed that deployments are faster and more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
This product is quite complex to use and requires a significant amount of training. The initial setup, including configuration, policy definition, and implementation, is very time-consuming. Additionally, the documentation is not very good, which makes the process even more challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The deployment process involves minimal or no hardware interference, which I find very efficient. The secure direct-to-cloud approach ensures that the entire process is protected. My important private data remains safe, and I have not experienced any data leaks.

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Zscaler for a while now, and what I like most is how simple and effective it is. It’s completely cloud-based, so there’s no need to manage hardware or deal with complex VPN setups. The Zero Trust approach is a big plus because it feels much safer—users only get access to what they need, and nothing else. Customer support is generally good.
Performance-wise, it’s great. Apps like Microsoft 365 and Zoom run smoothly without the usual lag you get with traditional VPNs.

What do you dislike about the product?
One major drawback of Zscaler’s Secure Web Gateway (SWG) is the lack of activity-based controls. It mostly works on an allow-or-block model for URLs or categories, but you can’t easily define policies for specific actions, like:

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zscaler helps us secure remote and hybrid teams without using old-school VPNs or hardware. It gives direct, secure access to apps through a Zero Trust model, which means less risk and no unnecessary network exposure. For us, this means stronger protection, easier policy management, and a smoother experience for apps like Microsoft 365 and Zoom

What do you like best about the product?
As a long-term supplier for a major global corporation, we use Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) daily to access their internal tools and environments. The experience is a quantum leap over the traditional VPN access we use with other clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the daily use is smooth, when a problem does occur, it's a real pain point, especially for external users who don't have visibility into the client's internal network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of granting me broad network access Zscaler allows my client to give me least-privilege access directly to the few specific applications I need to do my job.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most is that I no longer have to deal with VPNs. With Zscaler, I can stay connected at all times, regardless of my location, without any additional hassle. It also eliminates the need for extra firewall and security licenses, which helps save both money and time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using Zscaler, I have noticed that internet speeds can decrease by about 10% to 15%. Additionally, Zscaler may reduce overall network performance in order to prioritize security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zscaler offers a cloud-based, zero-trust cybersecurity platform that strengthens security and helps control expenses. By using this solution, organizations can become more agile and avoid the higher costs often linked to traditional network infrastructures.

What do you like best about the product?
ZIA is the most advanced solution in Cloud security it is totally cloud based so no headache of appliances. It offers comprehensive web security with advance features like URL filtering, SSL inspection, antivirus and DLP in one platform, also seamless integration with identity providers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Little complex policy configuration if any new admin is working on he can find it difficult to work on it as small mistakes can create the web traffic access issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before ZIA security was dependent on on-prem firewalls or you can say on perimeter firewalls but now ZIA provides direct access to cloud internet with full secure access, as faster access to internet and reduced MPLS costs to organisations.
