    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

Each rate maps to a standard AWS EC2 instance size. General-purpose types (t3, m5, m6i) balance CPU and memory. Compute-optimized c5 types favor processing power. Memory-optimized r5 and r6i types offer more RAM per core. Choose the family that matches your MariaDB workload.
No. You are billed only while the instance runs. There is no long-term commitment, and if the image is not running there is no software charge. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees, but the software meter tracks running time only.
You do not pay Cloudwrxs directly. Any payment is collected through AWS. Where a license is required, the vendor notes it in the product listing. The hourly software charge is separate from your underlying AWS compute and storage costs.
