Overview
This product provides the exact JumpServer 4.6 version and edition identified in the published release manifest, integrated with CentOS Stream 9 and delivered as an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) by Hanwei. The image applies Hanwei's versioned operating-system security-hardening baseline, configures the documented JumpServer components and ports, and initializes unique deployment secrets before the application becomes available.
Marketplace software charges cover Hanwei's JumpServer, dependency, and operating-system integration; application of the verified security-hardening baseline; per-deployment secret initialization; component and network configuration; repeatable image construction; and bounded EC2, bootstrap, health, audit, and asset-access testing. Hanwei support is supplementary and is not the sole basis for the software charges.
What Hanwei Adds to JumpServer
- Application and dependency integration: Hanwei installs and connects the verified JumpServer release, edition, components, database, cache, reverse proxy, and operating-system services documented in the published manifest and topology.
- Versioned operating-system hardening: Hanwei applies a versioned CentOS Stream 9 profile and records product-required ports, services, SELinux policy or exceptions, firewall rules, file ownership, service accounts, and other deviations from the baseline.
- Per-deployment secret initialization: Shared defaults are removed. Before JumpServer starts, each launched deployment receives unique administrator onboarding credentials or a secure first-use flow, SECRET_KEY, BOOTSTRAP_TOKEN, database credentials, cache credentials, and other installed-component secrets through the documented initialization process.
- Documented component and port configuration: Hanwei records which JumpServer components are installed, which ports they bind, whether each listener is internal or customer-facing, and which security-group and host-firewall rules are required.
- Audit-path preparation: Hanwei configures the installed release to generate and store the tested login, authorization, session, command, and recording events supported by the verified asset paths. Retention, integrity, export, alerting, and external storage remain bounded by the documented configuration and customer policy.
- Repeatable construction and final-image testing: Final-image tests cover EC2 launch and restart, unique bootstrap, administrator onboarding, component health, secret absence from the base AMI, web/TLS configuration, audit-event generation, backup and restore checks, and only the protocols and assets in the release test matrix.
- Supplementary support: Hanwei provides support according to the offering terms. Support supplements the integrated and tested image and is not the sole basis for Marketplace software charges.

Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension bills one running EC2 instance of the named size for one hour. The rate covers the JumpServer software and the hardened CentOS Stream 9 image on that instance. It does not cover the underlying AWS compute or storage, which AWS bills separately.
The software charge meters only the hours an instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops accruing software charges. Note that stopped instances may still incur AWS storage fees for attached volumes, billed by AWS, not through this listing's hourly software rate.
Your hourly rate follows whichever instance type you launch. Switching to a size with more vCPU, memory, GPU, or storage raises the hourly rate. Moving to a smaller size lowers it. The change takes effect when you launch the new instance; you are not locked to one size.
