This listing bills usage across three ongoing dimensions plus a trial. You pay for Compute per CRU hour, with separate rates for the Enterprise edition and Standard edition. Storage is billed monthly by GiB volume beyond any included allowance. Data Transfer covers outbound Internet traffic per GiB, with 30 GiB included each month. These three run independently, so your total scales with how much you compute, store, and transfer. The Starter Package gives you 30 days of platform access for a flat price, letting you test before committing to usage-based billing.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What is a CRU hour, and how is compute usage counted?
A CRU is a compute resource unit that measures processing capacity. Compute is metered by the hour across all virtual clusters and ingestion jobs. Usage accrues while clusters run and ingestion jobs execute. You are billed per CRU hour, so cost scales with how long and how large your compute runs.
How do the Enterprise and Standard editions differ for compute billing?
Both editions meter compute the same way, per CRU hour. The difference is the rate: Enterprise is billed at a higher per CRU hour rate than Standard. Storage and Data Transfer are billed identically regardless of edition. Only the compute rate changes based on which edition you choose.
Which dimension usually drives most of my bill?
Compute, Storage, and Data Transfer bill independently and appear together on one invoice. Compute per CRU hour typically dominates for query-heavy and ingestion workloads. Storage grows with data volume held beyond the included allowance. Data Transfer applies only to outbound Internet traffic past the 30 GiB monthly allowance.
