Overview
PNID.IO is an AI-powered engineering data intelligence platform designed for industrial plants. It extracts, validates, connects, and delivers structured engineering data from P&IDs and PFDs, transforming fragmented information into a unified, queryable knowledge graph.
The platform ingests engineering drawings in any format, including scanned PDFs, legacy CAD files, and low-quality images. Its AI engine identifies symbols, tags, lines, and text automatically, eliminating manual preprocessing and significantly reducing engineering effort.
PNID.IO includes a human-in-the-loop validation interface where engineers review and approve extracted data, ensuring accuracy and reliability for operational use.
All extracted data is connected into a Neo4j-based knowledge graph, enabling instant navigation and querying across plant assets without manual cross-referencing. Engineers can quickly access relationships between equipment, instruments, and documents.
The platform generates ERP-ready master data, including Functional Locations, Equipment records, Task Lists, Maintenance Plans, and Bill of Materials. This eliminates manual data entry and accelerates SAP and Maximo implementations.
PNID.IO also recreates intelligent SP&ID-ready drawings that can be directly loaded into Hexagon SmartPlant P&ID and AVEVA, enabling seamless transition from legacy drawings to intelligent engineering systems.
It connects PFD and P&ID data by linking stream conditions and operational parameters directly to equipment and instrument nodes, providing full operational context.
The platform supports multi-format output including DEXPI, Excel, JSON, XML, and Neo4j, ensuring compatibility with any downstream system or digital platform.
Material Take-Off (MTO) and Bill of Quantities are automatically extracted from drawings, supporting procurement, estimation, and planning processes.
PNID.IO is deployed in production across the Middle East, including large-scale desalination and oil and gas facilities, and is used in partnership with leading engineering system integrators.
Available on AWS Marketplace, PNID.IO can be deployed directly within your AWS environment, providing enterprise-grade security, scalability, and full control over your infrastructure.
Deploy the missing engineering data layer your plant has always needed.
Highlights
- PNID.IO simplifies ERP master data creation with its dedicated ERP Master Data Collection section. In organizations, P&IDs serve as the foundation for EAM master data. PNID.IOs intuitive functionalities enable seamless identification of Functional Locations/assets directly on the drawing board. Equipments/sub-assets are automatically organized within the ERP board, streamlining the entire process and ensuring precision.

64-bit (Arm) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
