Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

SSH Access Connect to your instance via SSH using your Amazon private key and the username 'ec2-user'.
Database Credentials The initial DB password can be found in the EC2 System Log, or by running: $ cat /home/ec2-user/credentials
PostgreSQL Shell $ sudo -i -u postgres psql -U postgres
pgAdmin 4 Access (via SSH Tunnel) SSH Tunnel settings:
- Use SSH tunneling: On
- Tunnel host: <your server IP>
- Tunnel port: 22
- Authentication: Identity file
- Identity file: ****.pem
Connection Tab settings:
- Host: localhost
- Port: 5432
- Database: postgres
- Username: postgres
- Password: (see credentials file)
