Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for this STIG-hardened Debian 10 image running on ARM-based Amazon EC2 instances. Pricing has one structure: an hourly software rate tied to the instance type you launch. Each listed dimension matches a specific ARM instance size across the a1, t4g, c6g, c6gd, m6g, m6gd, r6g, and r6gd families. Rates scale with instance capacity, so smaller sizes like t4g.nano cost less per hour than larger ones like r6gd.metal. You add the separate AWS infrastructure charge. There is no upfront commitment; you pay only for the hours you run.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What do I actually get for the hourly rate on this image?
You get a Debian 10 image hardened to STIG controls with seller support from Blume, running on an ARM-based Amazon EC2 instance. The hourly rate covers the software image and support. The underlying compute, storage, and network from AWS are billed separately.
Am I charged the hourly software rate when the instance is stopped?
The software rate meters running instance-hours only. A stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. You may still pay AWS for attached storage while the instance is stopped. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
Does changing to a larger instance size change my hourly cost mid-run?
Each listed dimension maps to one specific ARM instance size, and the rate scales with instance capacity. If you launch or resize to a larger family or size, the new size's hourly rate applies from that point. You are not locked to one size.
