Centralized visibility has simplified multi-cloud security and reduced troubleshooting effort

    Reviewed on Apr 26, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Aviatrix  is primarily in cloud networking and secure multi-cloud architecture projects.

In one project, I used Aviatrix  to set up secure connectivity between AWS  and Azure  environments using its transit gateway architecture and centralized firewall policies. This helped us simplify routing, enforce security, and get better visibility across our multi-cloud setup.

In addition to connectivity, Aviatrix also gave us centralized visibility and control, which made troubleshooting, monitoring, and enforcing consistent security policies across clouds much easier.

How has it helped my organization?

Aviatrix has positively impacted our organization by helping us simplify multi-cloud operations, improve security posture, and reduce troubleshooting time.

With Aviatrix, we saw around a 30 to 40% reduction in troubleshooting time due to better visibility, and deployment time improved by nearly 50% with automation.

    What is most valuable?

The best features of Aviatrix are centralized multi-cloud control and the built-in security, zero trust, firewalling, and deep network visibility.

The deep network visibility feature gave us end-to-end traffic insights across clouds, including flow-level data and real-time monitoring, helping us quickly identify bottlenecks, detect misconfigurations, and troubleshoot issues much faster.

Another standout is how Aviatrix combines networking and security in a single platform.

    What needs improvement?

Aviatrix can improve by simplifying its UI or UX for new users, enhancing documentation for complex setups, and reducing the learning curve so that juniors can understand it better.

One additional area is better cost optimization insights and reporting. While Aviatrix is powerful, more built-in recommendations for cost efficiency and resource usage would help teams manage budgets more effectively.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Aviatrix for approximately 1.5 years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Aviatrix is highly stable and reliable in production environments.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Aviatrix is highly scalable. It supports multi-region and multi-cloud expansion with ease using its transit gateway architecture and hub-and-spoke design.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support of Aviatrix has been strong and responsive.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We previously relied on native cloud networking tools such as AWS  VPC and Microsoft Azure  Networking. We switched to Aviatrix for better multi-cloud consistency, centralized control, and enhanced security features, which were harder to achieve with native tools alone.

    How was the initial setup?

We onboarded Aviatrix through the AWS Marketplace , which made procurement and deployment much faster.

    What was our ROI?

Using Aviatrix, we saw a clear ROI through approximately a 30 to 40% reduction in network management effort, which meant fewer resources were needed for operations, along with faster deployments of around 50% improvement, and reduced downtime, translating into cost savings and better productivity.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

With Aviatrix, pricing is on the higher side but justified by the features and performance. Setup costs were moderate, especially when deployed via AWS Marketplace , and licensing is flexible but can feel complex initially, requiring some time to fully understand.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing Aviatrix, we evaluated native solutions from AWS and Microsoft Azure, along with third-party options such as Cisco and VMware networking solutions.

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend clearly understanding your multi-cloud architecture upfront and investing time in learning the core concepts of Aviatrix. Start with a small deployment or POC and leverage the documentation and support to reduce the learning curve and maximize value quickly. I gave this review a rating of 8.

Centralized console has streamlined multi‑cloud management and supports automated operations

    Reviewed on Feb 03, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Aviatrix  is for managing our multi-cloud environment. We have our environment on Azure  cloud, AWS , or GCP . We are in a hybrid or multi-cloud environment. To have centralized console or control to manage all of those cloud environments through a single console, we are using Aviatrix  to manage it. It becomes very easier to manage from the centralized console from an administration point of view.

    What is most valuable?

Apart from the centralized management console, Aviatrix gives the additional advantage or simplifies the way we manage the cloud environments. When it comes to troubleshooting or more networking-related issues, the native cloud solution has limited options available within the cloud environment. Aviatrix provides those additional benefits to manage effectively when managing troubleshooting or issues.

Aviatrix is making our day-to-day job easier and also saving a lot of time because it gives options for cloud-to-cloud peering, as well as a transit hub and spoke architecture. It simplifies how we manage the multi-cloud environment through the single console, and the connectivity options become very easier.

Aviatrix supports the automation platform. It supports Infrastructure as Code  (IAC), which makes deployment faster with automation. This reduces operational overhead.

Aviatrix has positively impacted my organization by making management and administration easier, allowing us to manage all the cloud infrastructure from a single console. There is less overhead on operations due to automation support, and cloud network segmentation has become more advanced.

    What needs improvement?

I have seen some cosmetic bugs with Aviatrix, particularly with the console. Although the Aviatrix team releases versions to address these concerns, I have personally observed that the console can be slower to respond at times.

One area I would like to highlight for needed improvements is the documentation. The technical documents available on the platform are not very in-depth. If Aviatrix provides more detailed documentation on the technical infrastructure, it would be more helpful for customers to evaluate, learn, and gain knowledge about the platform.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Aviatrix for around four years now.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    Aviatrix is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Aviatrix is highly scalable. As your cloud environments increase, and you add additional cloud environments, such as from AWS  to Azure  or OCI , it scales effectively. It is scalable across different cloud environments and within a single cloud environment.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support for Aviatrix is pretty good. They are responsive, and their core technical team sometimes participates on calls when we need support.

How would you rate customer service and support?

    Negative

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I did not use a different solution previously; it was a natively managed cloud environment. Therefore, we did not consider any other solution apart from Aviatrix.

    What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment primarily through the time saved for our engineers, allowing them to focus on other productive tasks. Additionally, management has become significantly easier through Aviatrix controller.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I find that the pricing, setup costs, and licensing for Aviatrix are on the higher side.

What other advice do I have?

One important point is that if you are already using Aviatrix and wish to revert to your native cloud management solution, it is not easy to roll back to the previous setup. This is something to take into consideration.

The advice I would give to others considering using Aviatrix is that its high licensing cost makes it more suitable for large or medium-scale environments. When you have a multi-cloud environment, it becomes easier to justify the platform's cost. However, for very small environments or those using only one cloud platform, it may not justify the expense. Nevertheless, if your organization can afford it, you should go for it because it is a very stable, centralized solution that simplifies managing cloud operations. I would rate this product a 9 out of 10.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    Hybrid Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

    Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Aviatrix simplified our cloud networking in a way that saved us hours

    Reviewed on Jul 10, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, the most impressive aspect I’ve noticed while using Aviatrix is how it simplifies complex cloud networking across different platforms. Our team previously faced challenges with VPC peering and managing routes between multiple clouds. Aviatrix provided us with a unified control plane, allowing us to handle everything from a single dashboard. Additionally, the interface is clean and not overwhelming—even a mid-level engineer on our team was able to pick it up quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could use improvement is the initial learning curve. While the documentation is solid, it tends to be quite theoretical at times. More practical, step-by-step video guides or interactive sandbox labs would be especially helpful for beginners. Additionally, the pricing structure isn't particularly accessible for small teams or startups; offering a more flexible plan could make it easier for newcomers to get started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At Applligent Technology Pvt Ltd, we use Aviatrix to manage a complex multi-cloud environment that includes both AWS and Azure. Previously, our small DevOps team relied on native cloud tools like Transit Gateway and Azure VPN, but we struggled with limited visibility and found it extremely challenging to maintain consistent security policies across platforms.

Since adopting Aviatrix, our operations have become much more streamlined. CoPilot provides us with real-time traffic monitoring and automatically generated topology diagrams, which have been invaluable for troubleshooting network issues. FireNet has also made it easier to enforce security policies across all our VPCs, reducing the likelihood of errors. The most significant improvement is that our four-person team can now efficiently manage over a dozen VPCs with less stress and improved uptime.

Overall, Aviatrix has made our multi-cloud setup more secure, stable, and far easier to manage.
