Automate Essentials covers operating system and third-party patching plus software deployment and device configuration. Automate Enterprise builds on Essentials by adding plug-and-play automation scripts, immediate execution, multi-organization management, and core remote control. Automox Resolve Powered by Splashtop is an add-on module, not a standalone plan. You layer it onto a core plan to add endpoint remote control. Your total cost scales with the endpoint count you subscribe to across each selected dimension.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
An endpoint is any device the lightweight agent installs on, including laptops, desktops, servers, virtual machines, and containers. Each virtual machine counts as one endpoint even when sharing a host. Each dimension is sold in units of 10 endpoints, so you buy in blocks of ten.
You are billed upfront for the endpoints you subscribe to at your per-endpoint rate. Each endpoint added above your subscription bills at the same rate, annualized and prorated for the rest of your term. Subscribing to your expected count keeps billing predictable.
You choose one core plan, Automate Essentials or Automate Enterprise, priced per 10 endpoints. Automox Resolve Powered by Splashtop is a separate add-on module you layer on top, also priced per 10 endpoints. Both charges apply together on the same invoice and scale with your endpoint count.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of the product when it comes to patching platforms like Windows Linux and MacOS.
so there is just one agent and you get centralized portal where you can create policies and perform your BAU or Business As Usual tasks.
But I think apart from patching as well I have used their Worklet concept t which with in itself is interesting operational model which can be used to perform specific tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the concept of not handling Zero day vulnerabilities properly because they do not have specific plans also when you go and talk to Automox person around supply chain attack or patches coming from vendor they might not be of full help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We all know the very basic work which is being used by almost every organization working with Automox is patching their endpoints which helps to improve the compliance and governance .
We also use Automox to update our internal software's like Zoom, Teams, Cisco, webex etc.
we also use reporting feature of Automox as well and shares the report with the higher management.

What do you like best about the product?
Its ease of deployment on the endpoint is very streamline where you can install Automox wit in few minutes and few clicks.
Apart from that its capabilties which are remarkable applying patches , upates or any changes in the system or endpoint configuration are few of the ease to use feature which makes our life easier as an IT admin.

What do you dislike about the product?
See we have been using Automox for more than 5 years now and we have seen Automox evolving from few of its drawbacks like reporting, AI capabilties which some time provide you old or outdates drivers. Or I have specifically experince that easy updates like Chroem, zoom, slacks are easy to go but when you have some tricky updates that might be either time taking or might fail and then you have to troubelshoot and fix those and run the process again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lot of problems it is solving for us like patching, updates, system configuration, reporting on both complaint and non compliance resources, help us to fix and repair machines with the office network or not so remote users just need to have Automox and their devices will start reflecting in centralized Automox Portal.
I belive few of its features are just outstanding like writing custom scripts where you can create custom scripts very easily and then apply or I should say you can enforce it as well. Also you will be greatly benefited if you use Mac Os, Linux and Windows becaus there are tools in market which do not provide all 3 cross paltform support.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout and design of Automox, especially the dashboard which is really easy to read and follow. It's very easy to use, and I was able to pick up on it right away. The most important things are on the first page, making it really user-friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the highly customizable patching policies in Automox. It's great that it just works well and I can count on it to keep our machines up to date. Patching can be done in a way that allows end users to apply updates within a reasonable window, minimizing interference with their work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the colors and overall layout of the website, but sometimes the formatting of the different elements doesn't look the best. It makes scrolling a bit difficult. Automox uses different panes of information on a page it displays. Sometimes a pane will have a scroll bar at the bottom, but if you scroll down, it will scroll the page and not the pane. Also, it may need to scroll from left to right, but the bar to do the scrolling isn't visible until you scroll to the bottom of the pane. Onboarding was pretty easy overall. Getting the Apple Silicon Macs onboarded was pretty time-consuming. Also, some software will show up on vulnerability reports from other tools but then doesn't show up as vulnerable in Automox. I do know Automox is constantly adding software to their patching list, so things get better over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automox helps quickly patch vulnerabilities, run custom scripts, and maintain updated systems without disrupting users. The customizable patching policies allow patches to be applied flexibly, preventing work interruptions and ensuring security.

What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities of Automox to manage our endpoints via patching or you can say vulnerability management. Apart from that if there is any software updates or any configuration changes required we use Automox and achieve the desired outcome. I mean we use Automox for several purposes like our support helpdesk also use for remote control for troubleshooting endpoints. Reporting is another aspect which we like as well and get desired reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing which I don't like about Automox or I should say Automox do not have that feature is around zero day vulnerabilities, since we all know you require complete analysis for zero day vulnerabilities and they need to be fix ASAP and zero day vulnerabilities can even impact the production servers as well.
So I think Automox should work on this specific feature and since there are hardly any vendors who support zero day vulnerabilities properly so I think this is great opportunity for Automox

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
lot of problems Automox solve for us starting from Patch and vulnerability management for the endpoints to the software updates and configuration and like I said before our helpdesk also use Automox for remote control in order to perform troubleshooting on endpoints as well.
Reporting is another aspect we widely use it which tell us if our environment is up to date or not.
