Security Connector (SC) is a virtual machine developed within an enterprise branch office. SC workers in conjunction with Akamai cloud to provide security services for the enterprise. The primary functions of SC are:
- Attributing threats to client Inside the enterprise network.
- Forwarding DNS traffic to Akamai cloud.
- Proxying HTTP traffic to AKAMAI cloud.
