You pay based on a single usage dimension called Consumption, billed in Units. This is a pay-as-you-go model, so your cost tracks your actual activity rather than a fixed subscription. Usage combines several factors, including: Actions; vCPU-hour; Memory; GPU, Class 1 (T4, T4g, L4, Inferentia2, Trainium1); GPU, Class 2 (A10G, L40S, V100, A100, Trainium2); GPU, Class 3 (H100, H200, B200).

Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Dimensions summary
Union Team uses a contract with usage-based billing. You pay a monthly minimum, and that same amount comes back to you as a monthly usage credit. Your minimum becomes your baseline spend, and you can use that credit at no extra charge. Any usage beyond it is billed separately. Usage combines the actions your workflows run plus the CPU, memory, and GPU resources those actions allocate, measured by the hour. You are never billed for idle capacity. Annual discounts are available through Private Offers.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
An action is one unit of work: a completed task, trace, or condition running end to end. Duration does not matter, whether it takes two seconds or a month. Retries are not counted; an action is billed once the work succeeds. Health and status checks do not count toward action usage.
You are billed for the resources each container running your workflow actions allocates, measured down to the second. Only the resources your Union tasks consume count. On a shared cluster, other services' resource use is excluded. Actions and their allocated resources combine to form your total usage bill.
Your monthly minimum comes back as usage credit. If usage stays within that credit, you pay the minimum and owe nothing extra. Usage beyond the credit is billed separately at defined hourly rates. You are never charged for idle capacity, only for work your workflows request.
