Scalr is fully compatible with the Terraform/OpenTofu CLI and the TFC API - a built-in migration assistant moves your workspaces, variables, and state, and integrations built against the TFC API (like AWS Account Factory for Terraform) work by just changing the endpoint. Most teams save 50%+ vs. TFC. Scalr supports apply-before-merge - apply changes from a feature branch before merging to main, the workflow TFC doesn't offer. Plan and apply summaries post directly into PRs as comments and checks, and your team can manage runs from PR comments: /scalr plan, /scalr apply, /scalr approve. Branch-aware state protection prevents accidental overwrites, and configurable diff strategies cut noisy runs.
