Overview Odoo is a comprehensive open source business application suite that unifies CRM, sales, accounting, inventory, manufacturing, e-commerce, project management, human resources and many more modules under a single web interface. This image delivers Odoo Community Edition fully installed and configured, so a complete ERP platform is running within minutes of launch.
Application Stack Odoo Community Edition. PostgreSQL from the official PGDG repository. nginx web server proxying the Odoo application server on port 8069, with the longpolling and websocket endpoints reverse-proxied for live chat and real-time notifications. The Odoo systemd unit is preconfigured and starts at boot.
Separate Data Volumes The database and application tiers each run on their own EBS gp3 volume, so you can resize the PostgreSQL data volume and the Odoo filestore volume independently without touching the OS disk.
Secure First Boot On the first boot of your instance a one-shot service generates a fresh Odoo master password and a fresh admin account password, unique to that instance, creates the initial Odoo database and writes the credentials to a root-only file. No shared or default credentials ship in the image.
Ready To Use The Odoo application, web proxy and database are all configured. Browse to the instance address and sign in with the credentials from /root/odoo-credentials.txt to install modules (Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory and many more), configure your company and start managing your business operations.
