What do you like best about the product?

It's ability to identify and analyze emerging narratives that could impact our organization. It's constellation dashboard provides a clear visualization of how these narratives spread across different channels, which help us understand potential risks early on. It's in-build feature Narrative feed offer concise summaries, making it easier for our team to stay informed without getting overwhelmed. Its reporting ability which gives visual insights about how narratives are forming, evolving and impacting business.

What do you dislike about the product?

It's limitation in data integration and visualization which hinder our analysis. It is complex in implementation and doesn't support much software for integration.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It address the challenges of monitoring and responding to harmful narratives that can affect our brand reputation. It help us by providing real-time insights into how these narratives develop and spread.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Blackbird.Ai is truly passionate about protecting organizations against harmful disinformation and understand the impact and damage it can do to a brand. The team is made of narrative intelligence analysts, data scientists, behavioral psychologists, linguists, and national security professionals that put their talents and knowledge to use to consistently improve and expand their software.

I honestly can't think of anything I dislike it about.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

As someone that is responsible for sharing information, it's essential that information is the truth and can be verified by trusted news sources. Credibility is essential in the media business, and I can trust that Blackbird.AI's provides me with the most accurate information.

What do you like best about the product?

Most social tools I've used provide the same thing -- a relatively "flat" view of mentions and comments, total engagements and derivatives of those metrics. Blackbird goes multiple layers deeper, helping analysts identify connectivity, how narratives flow from one group to another, how they morph and change, and risks associated with each. The ability to identify coordinated manipulated engagement is especially useful in a media world increasingly filled with bots and coordinated activities. They also have the ability to pull in deep web data including from forums and chat services which aren't typically available with other vendors. Tracking how narratives "jump" from one platform to another is particularly useful when trying to understand a cohort's methods and motives for engagement. I've found Blackbird especially useful in crisis and high-risk scenarios where understanding social media behaviors. The team is constantly innovating and pushing the envelope, which is why they're trusted by such an impressive client roster.

Integrating the platform can take a few days to get the data pulled in and the systems running, but once it's there you can pull insights relatively frequently. It also has the ability to integrate with your current media and social listening tools. The customer success team is fantastic, filled with analysts and experts used to high-risk situations both in the private and public sector.

What do you dislike about the product?

This tool isn't for the average executive or analyst who's used to a platform spitting out a canned report; however, once you're past the curve it's relatively easy to use. This is for the sophisticated media forensicists and analysts, and there's a relatively steep learning curve since it's so different from other off-the-shelf social listening tools.

The tool isn't cheap, so don't look at this if you want to replace your current social listening platform, but it really shines in crisis or high-risk situations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Blackbird does a great job of going beyond the narratives and outlining the specific audience cohorts engaging with a particular narrative, helping uncover why they're engaging, and if/how they're coordinating or manipulating the narratives. For these reasons, I've primarily used the platform in crisis and issues scenarios where detecting sophisticated coordination and disinformation efforts are critical to determining an appropriate response.

Blackbird.ai is extremely helpful in uncovering audience details about conversations as well as identifying key narratives working for and against organizations. The tool enables stronger decision-making and a deep understanding of mis- and dis-information when it comes to harmful conversations and networks. Blackbird.ai allows us to be more proactive in issues management and improve strategic guidance.

What do you dislike about the product?

Blackbird.ai continues to listen to customers when it comes to tool advancements and features. While we sometimes run into small roadblocks such as tool limitations, data integration/visualization issues, or a desire for additional cohort/author information, the team is extremely helpful in identifying workarounds, offering hands-on support, and communicating product pipelines that continue to enhance their offerings.

Blackbird.AI helps us with identifying mis- and dis-information, understanding key narratives at play in a conversation, and uncovering key cohorts and author networks that are propagating various opinions.
