Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

This product bills on a usage basis tied to authentication request volume each month. You pay per request for transactions within the first tier, covering volume from 0 to 500,000 requests per month. A separate per-request rate applies to any transaction above 500,000 in a month. Pricing scales with how many transactions you process, so your cost rises with higher volume. There are no fixed instance sizes or seat counts. The two dimensions work together as volume tiers within the same monthly usage model.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each request is one cardholder authentication the 3DS Server processes for a card-not-present transaction. The product authenticates card payments on the acquiring side. Your monthly request count equals the number of transactions sent through the authentication service that month.
The first tier covers requests from 0 to 500,000 in a month. Once you pass 500,000, the above-500K per-request rate applies to each additional request. The transition happens automatically based on your monthly volume, so higher usage raises your total cost.
Billing is measured per month. Your request count resets at the start of each monthly period. The first-tier and above-500K rates apply based on that month's volume alone, so a high-volume month does not affect later months' tier placement.
