Instead, you choose from a range of instance families to match your compute, memory, and workload needs. General-purpose sizes (t2, t3, t3a, m4, m5, m5a, m6a, m6i, m7a, m7i) suit most deployments. Compute-optimized options (c5, c5a, c6a) fit heavier processing. Memory-optimized options (r5, r5a, r6a, r6i) handle memory-intensive use. Larger instance sizes cost more per hour. AWS infrastructure charges apply separately.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
One hourly unit is one running EC2 instance of the type you select. You pay for each hour the instance runs. The instance's vCPU and memory come from that instance family and size. The vendor suggests t3a.small as a baseline, but heavier workloads need larger sizes.
Hourly software charges apply only while the instance runs. If you stop the instance, software charges pause. You can restart it later from the EC2 console. Note that AWS may still bill separately for stored EBS volumes even while the instance is stopped.
When a new version appears in AWS Marketplace, you remove the previous version and launch the newer one. Back up your server data first. Your hourly rate follows the instance type you choose at launch, so pricing depends on the size you pick, not the version.

Nextcloud Deployment on EC2 with Secure Storage and IAM Integration
This deployment launches Nextcloud on an Amazon EC2 instance within a secure VPC, providing a reliable and private cloud storage environment. The solution includes IAM roles for secure integration with AWS services such as Route 53 for domain configuration. The AMI is preinstalled and configured, allowing users to start uploading, sharing, and managing files immediately after launch. Users can access the platform via public IP or configure a custom domain with SSL for secure communication. Security groups allow controlled access over SSH, HTTP, and HTTPS. This architecture is designed for secure file sharing, scalable storage, and full control over data on AWS.

IAM Role is set up and configured with the necessary permissions to assume the role for the Erpnext service. The IAM Policy is created and responsible for access Route53 and create Letsencrypt SSL certificates. After the stack is created, please point DNS. Then access the Erpnextthrough https://<your domain name>
If you want to ssh into the server please use the port 22 and username 'ubuntu'. Admin email is neded for SSL generation.
