AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This contract-based listing has two pricing dimensions. The Orange DAM dimension is your core commitment. It gives you one digital asset management platform to store, manage, and distribute assets across teams. This is the base you contract for. The Additional overage fees dimension covers usage beyond your contracted amount. It applies only when you exceed the limits set in your terms. The two dimensions work together: you commit to the Orange DAM platform, and overage fees add on if your usage rises past agreed thresholds. Check your contract terms for how overage is measured and billed.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the Orange DAM dimension actually include beyond storing files?
It gives you one platform to produce, manage, search, review, approve, and distribute digital assets. You get media asset management for video, digital rights management, project management, and AI tools like auto-tagging and natural language search. All asset types work in a single source of truth.
What triggers the additional overage fees, and how do the two dimensions combine on my bill?
You pay the Orange DAM commitment as your base. Overage fees apply only when your usage passes the limits set in your contract terms. The two charges add together on the same invoice. Your contract defines what is measured, such as storage volume or user counts, and when overage begins.
Can storage scale as my asset library grows, and how is that handled?
The platform supports large volumes and petabytes of data. It uses tiered storage that moves assets between layers automatically, balancing speed and cost. You can archive rarely used assets to cold storage. Growth beyond your contracted amount may generate the additional overage fees defined in your terms.

I have worked with multiple organizations that use Orange DAM and have seen first hand the flexibility and configurability of this application. Whether you are using it as your source of truth for brand content, as a drive wheel in your marketing stack, or to manage content from teams throughout a broad and deep enterprise, you can achieve your goals with Orange DAM.
For the user, it has powerful search, an intuitive interface that make finding and downloading assets a breeze. Users can access curated collections, search and filter with ease, and share content based on permissions set for users and groups or users.
Speaking of permissions. . . . They are finely grained and nuanced so you can manage folders of content using recursive properties -- or you can allow individual users access to specific assets for a specific date range and restricted options for downloading.
If you have a new or highly specialized work flow, need to integrate with new applications and build an AI tagging process to improve time-to-market, reach out to their customer support team and discuss it. Your customer success rep will help you make it work. And they have a detailed training program that will help you learn the ins and outs of Orange DAM. In short, you can configure and optimize Orange DAM to meet just about any use case.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is steep. As an administrator, you really need to complete their certification process to understand the full scope of what Orange DAM can do, and you will learn multiple strategies of achieving goals. The good news is their certification program is well designed and the curriculum is exceptionally thorough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company supports three business that have different needs and use cases, but they each leverage Orange DAM to create a central view of assets that people throughout their organization can access.

Modernizing the Digital Assets

What do you like best about the product?
Our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system at Colonial Williamsburg has revolutionized how we manage our extensive digital archives of images, videos, and historical documents. It has a user-friendly interface and many capabilities that make organizing and retrieving assets quick and efficient. This is saving a lot of time for users. The system is scalable, and by using AWS in conjunction with Cortex, it ensures we can manage our growing collections.
The platform also centralizes access to assets, enabling teams to work more effectively. The tool provides robust security and reliable performance, which provides peace of mind knowing our historical archives are well-protected and accessible for future generations. The Cortex DAM is an essential tool that supports our mission of preserving and sharing America’s history.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, the only downside has been learning how to use the system. As with any complex system that provides additional capabilities, learning how to use the tools can sometimes be a bit overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a comprehensive system for managing our digital assets. Our previous tool (which was insufficient for our needs) was eliminated by the vendor.

Best DAM system for our needs

What do you like best about the product?
Our organization - a museum library - needed a new DAM that would help us store, find, and retrieve assets for our user community in ways that our old DAM system could never do. We researched and interviewed a wide variety of DAM candidates and found that OrangeDAM was the only one that could help us effectively manage our media assets: moving images and sound. Their caption management tool allows us to easily caption and make searchable film/video and audio files and provide our user community with a new level of access that wasn't available to them (or us) before. This is a game changer in making our media collections findable/searchable for our users. We also have the ability to link assets so that video or audio files are presented with their accompanying scripts, press materials, etc to provide users with a more holistic view of our media collections. They also worked with us to integrate into OrangeDAM a new tool (similar to OCR) to help better transcribe handwritten manuscripts, of which we have many thousand in our special collections area. There are a lot of tools that exist to help make a better user experience and we're still exploring them after a year of working with the product. And they just released OrangeMAM, which we are also looking at to further assist us in managing our video workflow. We're excited to see that as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is so much to learn about the system that it can overwhelming, especially if you don't have much DAM experience. However, they just released a new learning center that is more in depth and intuitive than the former help center and has helped us answer internal questions and complete more advanced tasks. OL also provides 'office hours' in which customer's can ask specific questions about OrangeDAM in a live virtual enviroment. That is very helpful for clarifying how tools work or for questions specific to customer's specific instance of the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest issues for us was making our media collections available to our user community. These are moving image and audio assts. We couldn't ingest them into earlier systems because they couldn't handle them. Now we can and for the first time users can see our videos/film/audio assets in one central place. They had previously only existed on an internal server with a single gatekeeper. Users couldn't search, much less find the content they needed or worse, didn't even know that it existed. We were also able to merge two local DAMS into one central system so more users had access to a greater number of assets to assist with their work.
