    AWS Zoo Foundations Workshop Engagement

     Info
The AWS Zoo Foundations Workshop helps ISV leaders understand AWS’s organization, people, roles, customer segments, and industries, then align that landscape with their ideal customer profile. Through a tailored stakeholder map and engagement strategy, participants identify where their solution fits and build the foundation for a focused AWS co-sell motion.

    Overview

The AWS Zoo Foundations Workshop helps independent software vendor (ISV) leaders understand how AWS is organized across customer segments, industries, teams, people, and roles. Through tailored pre-work, SolutionsEverywhere maps the ISV’s ideal customer profile, solution, and go-to-market priorities to the relevant parts of the AWS organization, helping participants identify where their offering fits and which AWS stakeholders are most important to their growth strategy.

During the workshop, participants develop a practical, role-based AWS stakeholder map and engagement approach grounded in the priorities of AWS account teams, partner roles, solutions architects, specialists, and other relevant organizations. The result is a clearer, more focused foundation for AWS co-selling: whom to engage, why they may care, what value the ISV can bring, and how to align around credible customer opportunities. AWS Marketplace, AWS Partner Central, ACE opportunity management, and related co-sell mechanics are covered in supporting context, but the workshop’s primary value is strategic alignment rather than tool training.

This professional service relates to AWS Marketplace and supports ISVs building go-to-market and co-sell motions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). It can also help participants prepare for engagement with the AWS Partner Network (APN) and programs such as AWS ISV Accelerate. No AWS resources are deployed into the customer’s environment as part of this workshop.

    Highlights

    • Learn from former AWS Startups leadership: Gain practical insight from Pete Zarras, an ex-AWS leader who spent 7.5 years at AWS, including more than two years supporting startup ISVs as a Senior Solutions Architecture leader.
    • Map AWS to your ISV strategy: Connect your ideal customer profile and solution to the AWS customer segments, industries, teams, people, and roles most relevant to your growth.
    • Build a focused AWS co-sell foundation: Leave with a role-based stakeholder map and engagement strategy that clarifies which AWS roles to engage, why they may care, and how to navigate toward the right people through credible customer opportunities.
