This product has charges associated with it for seller support. Elyxia Global Limited offers a pre-configured Zammad 7.1 helpdesk on AlmaLinux 10, installed and ready before you open it. No setup wizard, your own administrator password, and a database and search engine that are not reachable from the internet. Email ticketing, a customer portal, automation and full-text search are ready on first sign-in.
Elyxia Global Limited brings you a robust and performance-optimized Zammad 7.1 helpdesk on AlmaLinux 10. Zammad is an open-source helpdesk and ticketing system that brings email, web forms, chat and messaging channels into one shared inbox, with triggers and schedulers for automation, SLAs, a knowledge base, a customer portal, role-based access and reporting.
This ready-to-deploy AMI gives you a working helpdesk without assembling Ruby, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis and a web server yourself, and without walking a browser wizard through the first setup.
The AlmaLinux 10 base is a secure, enterprise-grade Linux known for stability and long-term support.
Pre-bundled with this AMI:
Zammad 7.1,
AlmaLinux 10,
PostgreSQL 17,
Elasticsearch 9.5, configured for Zammad,
Redis and Memcached,
Nginx,
Caddy reverse proxy,
Docker and Docker Compose
The application runs in containers. Zammad, its database, its search engine and its caches are managed by Docker Compose on the instance, so application updates can be delivered without replacing the AMI. The database, search and real-time services run on an isolated internal network with no port exposed to the internet.
Your helpdesk is installed and ready when the installer finishes. There is no setup wizard to complete. The database, the search index and your administrator account are created for you, and the sign-in details are shown once, at the end of installation. The administrator password is generated for your instance alone.
The installer checks that the instance has enough memory before it starts, and adds swap space automatically, so a t3a.small runs the full stack including search.
Exclusive Fixes and Resolutions by Elyxia Global Limited:
Search Index Healthy From Day One: Elasticsearch is configured for a single server, so its index reports healthy instead of sitting in a permanent warning state, and the installation confirms search is ready before it finishes.
Your Own Administrator Password: a unique password is generated for every instance and shown to you once.
Only Three Inbound Ports: the database, search engine and real-time services have no published port. Only 22, 80 and 443 are needed.
Ready To Sign In: the administrator account is created during installation, so the public setup wizard is never offered to anyone who reaches your address first.
Links That Follow Your Domain: when you add your own domain, the address Zammad records for itself is updated too, so links in the notification emails it sends point to the right place.
Use your own domain name with a free SSL certificate. One command obtains the certificate, renews it automatically, and redirects HTTP to HTTPS. The instance needs only three inbound ports: 22, 80 and 443. This image does not include a mail server, so Zammad sends and receives through a mail provider that you configure.

Highlights
Ready When It Starts: Zammad 7.1 is installed with its database, search index and your administrator account already created. No setup wizard, and a unique password generated for your instance.
Closed By Default: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and the real-time services run on a private network inside the instance with no published port. Only 22, 80 and 443 need to be open.
Containerized and Maintainable: Zammad 7.1 on PostgreSQL 17 and Elasticsearch 9.5 runs as Docker containers on AlmaLinux 10, so application updates do not require rebuilding the instance. A Caddy reverse proxy handles HTTPS and your free SSL certificate.
