Bolna is a conversational voice AI platform for building and deploying AI voice agents that make and receive phone calls, with built-in telephony, real-time speech and LLM orchestration.
Bolna, is a conversational voice AI platform that enables enterprises to deploy AI voice agents capable of conducting complete, natural phone conversations at scale. Bolna orchestrates the full real-time voice stack, combining speech recognition, large language model reasoning and speech synthesis into a single low-latency pipeline, so that businesses can automate high-volume inbound and outbound calling without staffing proportional call center headcount.
The platform is designed for production workloads. Voice agents handle turn-taking, interruptions and mid-conversation language switching, sustaining sub-second response latency across thousands of concurrent calls. Bolna supports over ten languages including English, Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil and Telugu, with accent and dialect adaptation, making it suitable for enterprises operating across linguistically diverse customer bases.
Bolna serves both business users and engineering teams. Non-technical operators can configure agents, prompts, conversation flows and campaigns through a web dashboard, while developers can control the same capabilities through documented REST APIs and webhooks. Agents can invoke external APIs during a live conversation, transfer to a human agent when escalation is required, and trigger downstream actions such as CRM updates, SMS or calendar bookings once a call ends. Telephony is provider-agnostic, and the LLM layer is proxied so models can be selected per agent and per use case.
Every conversation produces a recording, transcript and structured metadata. Bolna additionally runs automated LLM-based evaluation across completed calls to determine whether each conversation completed successfully and achieved its business objective, including across multilingual transcripts. This gives operations teams campaign-level quality and outcome metrics alongside latency, cost and agent performance analytics.
Bolna is deployed across BFSI, e-commerce, recruitment and customer service for use cases including lead qualification, collections and revenue recovery, order and delivery confirmation, candidate screening, appointment scheduling and round-the-clock inbound support. The platform runs on AWS with encryption in transit and at rest, and is built to meet enterprise requirements around security, auditability and data handling.
Highlights
Sub-500ms response latency: The full loop of transcription, LLM reasoning and speech synthesis is optimized to keep round-trip latency under half a second, so conversations feel natural rather than turn-by-turn.
Real interruption handling: Agents manage turn-taking, barge-in and silence the way a person does, stopping mid-sentence when the caller speaks instead of talking over them.
Multilingual and accent-adaptive: Agents adapt across languages and accents mid-conversation, holding up on calls that shift between English, Hindi and Hinglish without breaking flow.

Enterprise
Voice agent minutes for high-volume deployments. 20,000 minutes on a 1-month term (effective $0.045 per minute) or 750,000 minutes on a 12-month term (effective $0.04 per minute, our lowest available rate). Enterprise-grade security and compliance: SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and DPDP.
You buy voice agent minutes through one of two contract tiers. Both bill by minute of voice agent usage. The Pilot tier suits production workloads and comes in a 1-month term or a 12-month term with a larger minute allotment and lower per-minute rate. The Enterprise tier suits high-volume deployments and also offers a 1-month or 12-month term, again with a lower per-minute rate on the longer commitment. Within each tier, the 12-month term gives you more minutes at a lower effective rate. Enterprise adds security and compliance certifications.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one voice agent minute for billing?
A minute measures voice agent talk time on a call. Usage is metered in 30-second pulses, so partial minutes round to the nearest half-minute. Each call draws down from your purchased minute allotment until it runs out.
What happens when I use up all my purchased minutes?
Your agents stop making calls once minutes run out. You can set up automatic top-ups or receive low-balance notifications to keep service running. Purchasing another allotment restores capacity.
How does the Pilot tier differ from the Enterprise tier beyond price?
Both bill by voice agent minute and include platform access. Pilot targets production workloads with sub-accounts and call analytics. Enterprise targets high-volume deployments and adds security and compliance certifications: SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and DPDP.
