Tridion Sites is a state-of-the-art web CMS that allows you to manage and deliver superb digital experiences across multiple channels - using traditional or headless (GraphQL) publishing.

This listing offers one contract option covering 25 users. Your price is fixed for that user count, not metered by traffic. The contract bundles unlimited websites and unlimited languages, so adding sites or languages does not change the price. It also includes a set allowance of 1.2 million neural machine-translated words per term. That word volume is the main usage boundary within the plan. To scale beyond the included users or translation allowance, you would arrange terms with the vendor. Billing runs on a fixed commitment rather than pay-as-you-go usage.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A user is a person who can add, manage, or remove content in the platform. The contract covers up to 25 such user accounts. Website visitors and end users who only view published pages do not count toward this limit.
Your price stays the same. The contract includes unlimited websites and unlimited languages. Adding new sites or new language versions does not change what you pay, since the price is fixed to the 25-user count rather than site or language volume.
The contract includes 1.2 million neural machine-translated words per term. Tridion applies machine translation to website content automatically. If you expect to translate beyond this word volume, arrange added capacity with the vendor, since the included allowance is the main usage boundary in this plan.

What do you like best about the product?
Flexible and powerful web CMS capabilities. Good support from RWS team. Extensive community. DXA reference implementation. Content modeling flexibility. Integrations with Elasticsearch, Opensearch and OpenID Connect for SSO.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overcomplicated workflow processes. Difficulty in troubleshooting publishing, customizations, extensions. Logs can be difficult to track down and/or provide little or no relevant information. Difficulty in finding or navigating correct documentation. DXA has historically been challenging to install and get up and running.

What do you like best about the product?
SDL Tridion is an ideal platform for huge enterprises that need to analyze a significant amount of data and offer it in several languages.
You can integrate the system with third-party applications, tools and services (e.g. Salesforce, Eloqua, Sharepoint, Flickr, SOLR, AWS Cloud Search, etc.). For this purpose, there is a set of APIs available.

What do you like best about the product?
I like its Blueprinting feature too much. Bulk and scheduled publishing are much capable and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
1- Workflow should be made simpler in integration and lightweight in functioning.
2- Separate module-wise licensing model is sometimes hard to estimate.

We are using it for multilingual content management and digital experience management. We are able to manage localized content much easily from a single place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an excellent content management product but not for small businesses as the license cost of this product is at the higher end.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you learn the system's complexity, it's got a nice feel to it, but the learning curve is quite heavy. Being a headless system, there are many many unfamiliar and awkward aspects
What do you dislike about the product?
There are literally so many things to dislike. First, it's very slow; it's also very complex. It's a mess, no way to preview before you publish. It's just a very bad CMS overall and I would not recommend it.. and there are reasons why there are not many developers that have experience in it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SDL creates its own problems. However we use this to manage content and build new pages on our website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As an honest recommendation, I would stay far away from this CMS; there are many other better ones out there.
