The Apheris Compute Gateway is a software product that empowers organizations to collaborate on distributed data in a secure, governed and private setup. Data never has to move. Federated analytics and machine learning are brought to the data and data custodians remain in full control. Data custodians can precisely configure who can send compute requests to which dataset and control used algorithms on a computational level, allowing organizations to differentiate analytical purpose, define the level of privacy and oversee results. The Compute Gateway enables a straight forward workflow fostering secure, private and governed collaboration with anyone.

Dimensions summary
This contract combines three units that you configure together. The Apheris Product License is your base subscription and forms the foundation of the purchase. Apheris Compute Gateways are counted by the number of gateways you deploy, so this scales with how many you run. Projects are counted by the number of projects you use with those gateways, scaling with your project count. You set the quantity for each unit independently, then bill under one contract term. Together these units let you size the deployment to your gateways and projects.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A Compute Gateway is the software layer you deploy in your environment. It lets your computations securely visit remote data, train, and run models without moving that data. You are billed by the number of gateways you deploy, so each running gateway counts as one unit.
A Project is a unit of work you run with your Compute Gateways, such as a federated model training or data collaboration. Project charges scale with the number of projects you use. Adding projects raises your Projects count, which adds to your total under the same contract.
You buy one Apheris Product License as the base subscription. On top of that, you set your Compute Gateways count and your Projects count independently. All three bill together under one contract. Gateway and project counts drive the parts of your cost that scale with deployment size.

What do you like best about the product?
To train machine learning models across multiple data sources without having to move or share the underlying data is very Good.
What do you dislike about the product?
As are company is small it challenging to adopt the platform. The costs associated with implementing and running privacy-preserving technologies i high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data Sharing without compromising the privacy of sensitive data.

What do you like best about the product?
Apheris I can deliver knowledge updates when needed without over-communicating about secrets. The anonymization features are strong and I do not see the potential of identifying anyone unless all the fields are filled.
What do you dislike about the product?
The framework was also somewhat generic on the right kind of granularity for data access controls. The current limitation however involves a certain level of inconvenience when setting up different permissions for different collaborators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apheris solves a major pain point for my team: safely integrating the Blues system with other organizations’ data scientists. Hence, Apheris allows collaboration between people with environment integration while keeping sensitive information secure.

Apherishas been praised for how easy it to use, how it can grow, and how safe it is. Overall it is the best platform for all the people/organisation that need to follow privacy laws.
What do you dislike about the product?
This platform not as popular as some other machine learning tool. This platform can be expensive for some people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without sacrificing confidentiality or security, the platform facilitates ML data sharing and collaboration between businesses. This platform is also offers different tools for handling ML data.
