The AveriSource Platform is a complete and comprehensive product suite designed to enable an end-to-end modernization journey. Leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation and GenAI, alongside a vast legacy knowledgebase, the AveriSource Platform accelerates application analysis and understanding, business rules extraction, and legacy code transformation for deployment to any platform free from proprietary platform or vendor lock-in, runtimes, or library dependencies. Using AveriSource Discover, unravel application architecture, data handling, and access patterns of cross-referencing programs for work prioritization. Apply business function mapping to components using the Process Identification view and worksheet, enhancing functional work. Accelerate data modernization planning using Data Lineage and Data Dictionary views. Expedite rationalization using Cluster views showing components sized by lines of code, connections, and complexity. Plan and manage approach and workload assignments based on industry standard Halstead and McCabe Cyclomatic complexity.
Buidling on the knowledge gained from Discover, AveriSource Analyze accelerates requirements gathering utilizing knowledgebase, process rules, and algorithms built over 30 years, parsing 2+billion lines of code. Identify, document, and extract business rules with confidence for deployment to rules engines or building rewrite specifications. Get complete coverage with 12 types of rules, mapped to each line of code and providing rule sets (flow of conditions to execute current line). Reduce technical and eliminate cloned code, dead code, and code with anomalies, such as multiple levels of nested complex conditionals. Accelerate onboarding and dynamic documentation with call chain diagrams and flowcharts that drill down into routines and code details. Enhance and expedite daily maintenance or optimization tasks with variable and method (paragraph) impact analysis, reducing task time. Improve application and business rule understanding for analysts or business users with rule chaining, sequence diagrams, and variable tracing.
Leverage AveriSource Transform to rearchitect and rewrite legacy code using knowledge gained from Discover & Analyze and generate applications or microservices using customized AI modeled templates for better quality code. You pay by the hour for the AveriSource Platform running on a single r7i.2xlarge compute instance. This is usage-based pricing with one dimension, so your cost scales with how many hours you run the software. There are no tiers or separate add-ons to choose from. You control spending by starting and stopping the instance as needed. The platform runs in your own environment and analyzes source code you provide. Billing follows your actual runtime rather than a fixed upfront commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The r7i.2xlarge is a memory-optimized AWS instance type. You run the AveriSource Platform on one server with these resources. Recommended setups suggest 8 or more CPU cores, 64 GB or more memory, and 500 GB storage per server. Larger codebases may need separate machines for the database.
You pay only for hours the instance runs. When you stop the instance, hourly software charges stop accruing. Underlying AWS storage fees for the stopped instance may still apply. To control spending, start the instance only when you actively analyze or transform source code.
The hourly rate covers running the AveriSource Platform on the instance. It does not include installation services, supporting AveriSource services, or database software you must supply. Setups require a separate SQL database, and you can install it on the same or a separate machine. Contact the vendor for service scoping.

Vendor refund policy
Full details on refunds for AveriSource Software are in the Terms of Service (<www.averisource.com/legal/terms-of-service >); in summary: (i) pro-rated refunds for unused pre-paid subscription fees may be obtained during the first year of use if the Software fails to substantially conform to its documentation and we cannot resolve the same, subject to limitations; and (ii) all other fees, including usage-based charges, professional service fees, and fees after the first year, are non-refundable.
