DBeaver Team Edition is the enterprise-level universal interface for data management.
It includes a wide range of team collaboration features to provide a secure and efficient way for database administration and data analysis in large organizations.
DBeaver Team Edition server supports two alternative interfaces: web and desktop. It is especially adapted for AWS Cloud services for user and permission management. Out-of-the-box DBeaver Team supports: AWS RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server), AWS Redshift, Aurora, Athena, DynamoDB, DocumentDB and Keyspaces. Users can also create connections to other databases. Tens drivers are already included.

Dimensions summary
You pay per named user, and each user is assigned one of five roles. The roles are Administrator, Developer, Editor, Manager, and Viewer. Each role carries its own price based on the access it grants. You choose how many users you need in each role and add them to your order. Your total is the sum across all roles. A minimum of three users applies, and one must be an Administrator. Desktop clients need no separate license. Billing runs on an annual subscription, and you can add users during the active term.

Yes. You do not need separate licenses for desktop clients. Each named user can access Team Edition through either the web interface or the desktop application. The role license covers both. This lets people switch between desktop and web without losing progress on their tasks.
Each role carries its own price. Your total adds up the count in each role multiplied by that role's price. You must have at least three users total, and one must be an Administrator. You can add more users in any role during the active subscription term.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes
Changes since 26.0.0: Administration: Added a new secrets configuration provider, "AWS Secrets", that uses local AWS configuration. The existing provider that used the AWS cloud configuration was renamed to "AWS Integrated Cloud Secrets". Updated user role modifications and deletions for multiserver licenses to take effect immediately, without requiring re-login. Added an ability to update license information from the server on demand. The Refresh button is available on the License tab. Restored the ability to use the zip extension library type for driver downloads.
General: Datasets based on SQL queries don't use the query name as the file name when exporting files for Editors and Viewers. Added fallback event handling for cases when Kafka is unavailable. This prevents long delays in actions such as saving configurations or resources.
Security: Fixed the critical vulnerability (CVE-2026-22732) in the spring-security-web library. The library was updated to version 4.0.4. Fixed the high vulnerability (CVE-2026-35554) in the kafka-clients library. The library was updated to version 3.9.2.
MCP: Added the internal MCP DBeaver Server with the ability to configure tools for the AI Chat: Read table sample rows, Open database objects editor, or open SQL Editor. This functionality is enabled by default when AI Integration is enabled. Added MCP client authorization support, allowing customers to review the third-party application's request and permissions on a dedicated consent screen.
AI Assistant: Added an Ask AI button to the Execution Plan toolbar, providing explanations and highlights for the execution plan state and potential performance optimization. Added the TOOLS & MCP Section into the AI Settings in the Administration part. External and internal agents can be configured there by administrators. Passed the read-only connection flag to the AI assistant context via the system prompt. The assistant recognizes permission restrictions and generates responses that respect database constraints. Context sending was improved. DBeaver now sends only the information needed for the current AI request and avoids sending unnecessary data. This helps reduce token usage for the same operations.
SQL Editor: Added an advanced graph visualization for SQL execution plan. The view highlights the most expensive nodes and routes, allows hiding irrelevant elements, and shows node details.
