You choose between two tiers, both billed per host under a contract. Pricing scales with the number of hosts you cover. Agency MDR Basic (Hosts) includes managed EDR, patch management, and firewall coverage. Agency MDR Pro (Hosts) adds fully supervised EDR and mobile device management on top of patch management and firewall. Both are per-host managed detection and response services, so your cost grows as you add devices. The Pro tier covers a wider set of managed capabilities per host than the Basic tier.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one host for billing under either tier?
A host is any device the service protects with its agent. This includes servers, laptops, and desktops across operating systems like Mac, Windows, and Linux. Each device counts as one host. Your cost rises as you add devices, so billing tracks your total protected device count.
What does the Pro tier add over the Basic tier per host?
Both tiers include patch management and firewall coverage. Agency MDR Basic (Hosts) provides basic managed EDR. Agency MDR Pro (Hosts) provides fully supervised EDR and adds mobile device management (MDM). So Pro covers a wider set of managed capabilities for each host you enroll.
Can I mix Basic and Pro across different hosts, and how does that affect my bill?
Each tier bills per host separately. If you assign some devices to Basic and others to Pro, each device accrues its own tier rate. Your total combines the count of Basic hosts and Pro hosts. Adding or removing devices in either tier changes that tier's portion of the bill.
