    Overview

    This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for the secure configuration of the CMS. Craft CMS is an Open-source headless CMS (Content Management System) that allows for the creation and quick updating of websites. Craft CMS contains a user-friendly UI and dashboard, and lets users download countless plugins. It is being run with Apache Webserver to display it, and PostgreSQL 15 to store information for it. This product follows the "Securing Craft" documentation, except for a few things that are the responsibility of the user, such as installing an SSL certificate, changing config settings, disabling admin changes or dev changes, or changing the cpTrigger.

    An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    SSH to the Instance using the username "ec2-user"

    Run the following commands: "cd /var/www/craft" "php craft setup/keys" "sudo nano .env" Replace the primary site url parameter (last line) to the Public IPv4 DNS. (Example http://<Public IPv4 DNS> and it should have a http:// at the beginning and a .com at the end.)

    Go to the Public IPv4 DNS followed by /admin/login using HTTP in a browser (Example http://<Public IPv4 DNS>/admin/login) (the user can change this location later)

    Enter "admin" as the username Enter the instance-id of the instance used to launch the ami as the password (the username, password, and email can all be changed later through the database, settings, and through php commands).

    From the dashboard, click on Utilities, then Caches, then Clear Caches

    To sign into the database use the command "sudo -u postgres psql" The default postgreSQL port is 5432.
