Identity workflows have been automated and access governance has provided continuous oversight
What is our primary use case?
Linx Security is my main tool for governing and securing human identities and agents. I manage the full life cycle of people joining the company, moving, and leaving, ensuring they have the right permissions. I run workflow automation, which frees my team to work on other tasks, conduct user access reviews, and ensure agents have the right guardrails on what they are accessing.
I leverage the full package from Linx Security , gaining complete understanding of who has access to what through the Access Graph and non-human identities capabilities. The latest addition has been working with the MCPK gateway on governing agents.
What is most valuable?
The Access Graph provides full visibility of who has access to what, and the agent governance features give me visibility on what each agent is accessing. The workflow automations for joiners, movers, and leavers allow me to run any action automatically.
Linx Security recently added Autopilot, which automates monitoring and takes action automatically using agents, essentially functioning as an additional employee.
In my day-to-day operations, I see all sorts of policy drifts as part of how the Autopilot feature works. For example, people who are supposed to get admin rights can be approved or rejected. User access reviews and monitoring are being done automatically and continuously, and I ensure that people leaving the company have all their other access revoked.
Linx Security has positively impacted my organization by providing a much better understanding of who has access to what. It helps me make decisions using user access reviews with auditors, and by running workflow automations, I can significantly reduce the cost and time spent by my engineers.
What needs improvement?
There is nothing I can think of for improvement regarding Linx Security. I would not like to add more about needed improvements regarding Linx Security, as there are no small or wish list features to mention. I have not seen any areas for improvement with Linx Security, even small things.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Linx Security for one year.
What other advice do I have?
Linx Security is deployed in my organization on the public cloud. My advice to others looking into using Linx Security is to use it, as it is a great platform. I give this review a rating of ten out of ten.
Identity governance has become automated and gives full visibility into all human and agent access
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Linx Security is defining our identities, human, and agents. When people join the company, we manage joiners, movers, and leavers. We get full visibility of every employee and where they have access. Not only that, we can see all the agents that are in use and what access they have to what application and data source. It is a full security and governance platform.
How has it helped my organization?
Linx Security has positively impacted my organization by creating a very governed and very secured environment. It has freed our teams to deal with other security and governance topics. We're compliant and we are working with cyber insurance companies which provide the reports. A lot of things are being done automatically, and I know very well my overall risk of my humans, non-humans, and agents.
What is most valuable?
The best features Linx Security offers include an access graph that shows every employee, every agent, every non-human identity, and what connects to them. They don't stop only on showing visibility but also take action. They have workflow automation which works perfectly. On top of that, they just released their autopilot, which is basically an identity agent running in your environment and can take action on your behalf. On top of that, they have their MCP gateway that can control agents accessing anywhere in the enterprise.
The workflow automation has made my daily work easier by replacing a lot of manual work we've been doing. For example, you have an agent, the autopilot, that runs and provisions and de-provisions automatically every admin request. It looks for the context of who asked for it, gives a security risk score, reduces the time that we're spending on it, and frees up time to do other things. We manage contractors and created a just-in-time environment. People that leave the company have workflows running to make sure our posture and governance are how they're supposed to be.
What needs improvement?
I have nothing to improve in the platform. It's really perfect. The product name is Linx Security, spelled L Y N X.

The customer support is very quick to respond. They give us excellent support, and we love it.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I previously used SailPoint and moved to Linx Security.
How was the initial setup?
It's been very easy to use. It took us maybe a few hours to connect the platform, and we're very happy with it.
What was our ROI?
I have dramatically saved on return on investment.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing was that pricing was very fair and they reduced the overall TCO that we have compared to other vendors based on the fact it's so easy to deploy and doesn't really require a lot of professional services.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Linx Security, we looked into Veza and ConductorOne .
