Satori helps security and engineering teams streamline data access by automating access controls, security and compliance requirements across their data infrastructure.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You buy the Satori Data Security Platform as a subscription under a contract term. Four options are offered: Base, Starter, Business, and a general Satori Data Security Platform subscription. Each is priced in units. You select the option that matches your needs, and you commit for the contract period. The tiers let you scale your subscription level rather than paying per feature. All options deliver the same core platform for data discovery, access control, monitoring, and governance. Contact the vendor to confirm which tier fits your data environment and unit count.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one unit represent in a Satori subscription?
Each tier is billed in units under a contract term. The marketplace listing does not define what a single unit maps to, such as a user, data store, or connected platform. Contact the vendor to confirm how units are counted for your specific data environment before you commit.
What happens if my usage grows beyond the units I committed to?
You commit to a set unit count for the contract period at your chosen tier. The marketplace listing does not specify automatic overage handling. If your data stores or connected platforms grow, contact the vendor to adjust your unit count or tier for the next term.
Do the Base, Starter, and Business tiers differ in features or only in scale?
All tiers deliver the same core platform: automatic data discovery and classification, centralized access control, activity monitoring, and governance. The tiers let you scale your subscription level rather than unlocking separate features. Contact the vendor to confirm which tier matches your unit count.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Satori is building data products as a Data Bricks framework where I am creating data products for each team following a Data Mesh architecture.
I have a wheel file, and when someone wants to create a new data product with specific tables, I specify the tables in a YAML. I provide this YAML as an input, and the framework knows how to duplicate and create the tables that support the business users.
This is our main use case, and of course, we also use it to fix bugs and enhance features.
What is most valuable?
The best feature Satori offers is its simplicity for non-business and non-technical persons because all you have to do is provide inputs—the tables that you want to use as source—and then the framework does all the work. You just define the tables and what tables need to be joined.
This simplicity helps my team in day-to-day work because non-technical people and product owners can actually develop data products with this streamlined pipeline without having to know how to code and without having to maintain a code base. We just maintain and enhance while they build what they want.
Satori also has data quality checks that are defined by the data quality team, so we know if the data are corrupted. That is another main feature.
Satori has positively impacted my organization because it's a product that has been sold to many clients and has also been used internally for some use cases that the company needed. It's one of the most successful products of the company.
What needs improvement?
Satori can be improved by integrating CI/CD because currently we are doing it manually, which is something we need to fix. Additionally, we could enhance it with more automation, improve the code, and make it even more parameterized.
These are our major improvements, and these are our six-month plan.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working in my current field since 2023, so I have been using Satori for three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Satori is very stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Satori's scalability is very easily achievable because it's a framework that you can parameterize a lot and have a great deal of scalability possibility.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I was hired to this company to develop this product, so I haven't used any other solution. I used Satori from the first time.
What was our ROI?
Satori leads to more sales and has doubled our sales. Our goal was to make 200,000 revenue, and we made 600,000 with this product. It also has a lot of positive feedback from customers.
Customers needed fewer employees because they don't need a data engineer anymore—we are the data engineers that they use, and they use this framework. They have also decreased their costs because the output tables are exactly what they want, providing greater cost savings.
What other advice do I have?
My advice for others looking into using Satori is to train themselves to use it efficiently. It's a very nice product, but it definitely needs some learning curve to get used to it.
For Satori's AI capabilities, we are using Microsoft Purview. It reads from Microsoft Purview what we have authorized, what we have in terms of security and glossaries, and how we define roles so that specific users can see specific rows and columns.
Regarding Satori's AI capabilities, its accuracy and reliability of output is very high because it's been tested and used by fourteen clients until now, and they haven't pointed any major deficiency or fault in the output.
Satori is deployed in my organization as a private cloud. It's a Bitbucket hosting Bitbucket, and whenever we make a merge to the develop branch, we use Azure DevOps to build it, but this is done manually. We should do it automatically.
I use Microsoft Azure as the cloud provider.
I'm not highly experienced with pricing, setup cost, and licensing. I'm more of a software engineer and data engineer, so I'm not very experienced with this area.
I would rate this review seven out of ten.

Data protection has strengthened AI governance and simplifies regulatory compliance
Reviewed on Jul 14, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Satori is the protection of the database.
The scenario in which I use Satori to protect my database involves an intelligence business case about artificial intelligence where we manage sensitive data, and we were under Italian regulatory compliance requirements. We masked the database and used it to govern access to the data.
It is covered regarding my main use case, as it works well and continuously, and it gives significant visibility into the proper use of permissions in the database. Additionally, it is helpful for compliance evidence, and we can manage the documentation about compliance easily and maintain evidence.
What is most valuable?
Satori offers many best features, not just one. These include masking, auditability, and the ability to manage access and identity.
When I mention masking and managing access and identity, those features help my team on a daily basis by creating a compliance model. In Italy, we must respect the European AI Act, and all the controls and features of Satori give us the opportunity to have a strong compliance commitment and respect our obligations while reducing the work needed to manage the governance of the solution.
Satori has positively impacted my organization by providing a solution that helps in the development of AI intelligence while protecting AI with less effort than other solutions.
What needs improvement?
Everything could potentially be improved.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Satori for three to six months.
What other advice do I have?
Satori helps me protect AI with less effort by allowing me to simply configure the policies and the automation regarding it. I have reports and alerts in real-time that help prevent improper access from unauthorized users, giving full visibility about protection and evidence for compliance.
I would advise others looking into using Satori that it is a great tool and it is helpful for staying safe while having the opportunity to be resilient.
Regarding Satori's AI capabilities, I think its governance and security are among the stronger offerings in the market.
Regarding Satori's AI capabilities, I believe it is accurate and the output is efficient. I give this review a rating of nine.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing abou the Satori is its Data Access Control, feature that enables an user to lend granaul control of data based on the authority and need. Which is really a nice thing to have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't anything in particular that I dislike. However, I do think there is room for improvement in their AI Agent system. At times, it tends to highlight less important issues instead of focusing on the more significant ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us figure out the potential leakage of sensitive data from our code base. That really benefits us from exposing crucial data from malicious attacks which could have been made possible it not been raised by Satori Data Security Platform's tools.
