What exactly does one billed unit represent for this listing?
One unit is one hour that a single EC2 instance runs the pre-configured image. The image bundles Windows Server 2019 with Lucee, CommandBox, and ContentBox 6.0. You pick one instance type, and each hour it runs counts as one billed hour at that instance's hourly rate.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or powered off?
The software charge meters running hours only. When you stop or power off the instance, hourly software charges do not accrue. Underlying AWS storage fees for the disk may still apply while the instance is stopped, but those are separate from the per-hour software rate.
How does my hourly rate change if I pick a larger instance type?
Your rate follows the instance you choose. Each EC2 instance type maps to its own hourly price based on CPU, memory, and specialized hardware. Moving to an instance with more compute, memory, or a GPU raises the hourly rate. You pay that new rate for every hour the instance runs.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

They should be Key equals Name and Value equals Ortus Lucee CFML engine 5.3.9.141 (Windows 2019). Click "Next: Configure Security Group." 8. Go to the source column and select MyIP so that ssh will only be enabled for your IP address (VERY IMPORTANT). At the type, column select HTTP and leave port 80 selected. 9. Create a new key pair and put it in a folder that you have access to. 10. Click the button labeled "View Instances." 11. Select your running instance. Look for "Public DNS (IPv4)," copy it and paste it in a browser. The Image comes with CommandBox CLI installed.
