    64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

    Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

    An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Version release notes

    Tom Sawyer Graph Database Browser 12.0.0 contains security updates.

    Additional details

    Usage instructions

    1. Ensure the security group rules for inbound traffic enable HTTP port 80. For convenience during launch process, you can create a new Security Group based on seller recommended settings. For more information:

      https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/userguide/VPC_SecurityGroups.html

    2. Once the instance is running, access via a web browser: http://{instance_url}/databasebrowser The instance_url is determined by your instance host name or IP. On first login, your credentials are:

      User: admin Password: {instanceID}

      The instance ID is available in the description of your AMI in your Amazon console. Once you sign in, you will be prompted to change the user email and password.

    3. To enable user self-registration in your AMI, run the script: /home/ec2-user/enable-user-registration.sh. If you want to again restrict user registration, run the script: /home/ec2-user/disable-user-registration.sh

    4. To change the instance_url, add environment variable TS_GDBB_VIRTUAL_HOST and restart your instance. Or, use the update script /home/ec2-user/tsgddb.sh. Uncomment the line # export TS_GDBB_VIRTUAL_HOST="$my-host.com", update it with your hostname, and then execute the script so the changes take effect.
