This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for support and maintenance by AskforCloud LLC.
Gogs is a painless self-hosted Git service. Gogs is 100% open source and free of charge.
This project aims to build a simple, stable and extensible self-hosted Git service that can be setup in the most painless way. With Go, this can be done with an independent binary distribution across ALL platforms that Go supports, including Linux, macOS, Windows and ARM.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Connect to EC2 Linux instance - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/AccessingInstances.html (Port - 22 and Username - admin)
Usage instructions :
1.The operating system does not save sensitive information for users/customers.
2.There are no data encryption techniques set for current AMI.
3.Users can launch instances of AMI with a key pair.
4.Navigate to your Amazon EC2 console and verify that you're in the correct region.
5.Choose Instance and start using launched instance.
Gogs :
- To Check Gogs Version - Run the command, "sudo /home/git/gogs/gogs --version"
- Installed MYSQL Database server, create new database for Gogs installation.
- You can edit the file to set customize the settings: "/etc/systemd/system/gogs.service"
- Start the Gogs service and enable it to start, Run the following command, "sudo systemctl start gogs" "sudo systemctl enable gogs"
- Verify the status of the Gogs service , Run the following command, "systemctl status gogs"
- Access the URL "http://serverip:3000/install " to finish the installation of Gogs
