WhaleStudio is a commercial data integration and orchestration platform based on the open source Apache DolphinScheduler and Apache SeaTunnel projects.
It provides ETL, data synchronization, scheduling, and workflow monitoring capabilities for data pipelines.
WhaleStudio is a commercial data integration and orchestration platform designed to help teams build, schedule, and monitor data pipelines in a centralized way.
The platform supports a wide range of batch and streaming scenarios through more than 30 built in job types, an intuitive low code drag and drop interface, and over 290 ready to use connectors covering databases, SaaS applications, messaging systems, and IoT data sources. These capabilities enable users to manage data synchronization and workflow orchestration with minimal operational overhead.
WhaleStudio is based on the open source Apache DolphinScheduler and Apache SeaTunnel projects, combining their core scheduling and data integration capabilities into a commercially supported platform. The product extends the open source foundations with additional management, observability, and operational features to support production data workloads.
As a SaaS offering on AWS Marketplace, WhaleStudio is delivered as a fully managed service. Each subscription includes a system project per account and comes with 1,000 credits per month, which can be used to execute scheduling or data synchronization jobs. Usage beyond the included credits is billed on a pay as you go basis, allowing teams to scale workloads according to their actual usage without upfront capacity planning.
Highlights
Integrated data pipeline management
Build, schedule, and monitor ETL and data synchronization workflows within a centralized platform, supporting common data integration and orchestration use cases.

Extensive connectivity across data sources
Integrate batch and change data workloads using over 290 pre built connectors, covering databases, SaaS applications, data lakes, messaging systems, and IoT data sources.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Includes 1,000 Credits per month as part of the subscription. Credits are consumed based on actual usage and reset monthly (approximately 200,000 synced records or 1,000 successful workflow runs).
This listing uses a single monthly contract dimension. You subscribe monthly and receive 1,000 Credits each month. Credits fund your actual usage of the platform. You spend them on synced records or workflow runs. As a guide, 1,000 Credits cover about 200,000 synced records or 1,000 successful workflow runs. Credits reset each month and do not carry over. Your cost stays fixed at the contract rate, while the included Credits set your monthly usage capacity. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose from.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one Credit pay for, and how do synced records and workflow runs draw from the same Credit pool?
Credits fund actual platform usage. You spend them on two activities: moving data (synced records) and running workflows. Both draw from the same monthly pool of 1,000 Credits. As a guide, that pool covers about 200,000 synced records or 1,000 successful workflow runs, depending on which activity you use.
What happens if I use up my monthly Credits, or if I do not use them all?
Credits reset each month and do not carry over. Unused Credits expire at the end of the billing month. The listing does not state overage behavior once your 1,000 Credits are consumed. Contact the vendor to confirm how usage beyond the included Credits is handled.
Which activity drives Credit consumption faster — data movement or workflow orchestration?
Both activities draw from the same Credit pool. Data movement is measured in synced records, while orchestration is measured in successful workflow runs. Data-heavy pipelines that move large record volumes consume Credits differently than orchestration-heavy work with many workflow runs. Your usage mix determines which activity uses your Credits first.
