AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay for this product based on usage, measured in Container Hours. There is one pricing dimension: each hour a container runs adds to your bill. Costs scale directly with how long your LACChain Open Protestnet node runs. If you run the node continuously, you accrue more hours; if you run it less, you pay less. There are no tiers or fixed commitments to choose from. This blockchain node deploys on AWS through an EKS cluster, and billing follows the time your node stays active.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one Container Hour for billing?
A Container Hour measures each hour your node's container runs on AWS. Your node deploys inside an EKS cluster. Every hour the container stays active adds one unit to your bill. Partial usage and stopped containers depend on runtime; only active running time is metered as Container Hours.
Am I charged when my node's container is stopped or not running?
Charges accrue only while the container runs, measured in Container Hours. If you stop the container, you stop accruing software hours. Note that underlying AWS resources, like the EKS cluster or storage, may bill separately from this usage charge.
Is this pay-as-you-go, or do I commit to a set amount upfront?
This is pay-as-you-go. You are billed by Container Hours as your node runs, with no upfront commitment and no fixed term. Cost scales directly with runtime. Run the node continuously and hours add up; run it less and you pay for fewer hours.

Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
