Overview
Dolibarr is a popular open source ERP and CRM platform used by businesses, freelancers, and non-profit organisations worldwide. This AMI delivers Dolibarr 23 fully installed, configured, and security-hardened so you have a complete business management platform running within minutes of launch - eliminating hours of manual dependency installation, web server configuration, and database setup that a self-managed deployment requires.
Why Choose This AMI Over Manual Installation
With a standard Dolibarr deployment you must install PHP and its extensions, configure a web server, provision a database, run the install wizard, and then harden credentials - a process that typically involves dozens of manual steps and significant Linux administration experience. This AMI completes all of that for you before first boot, so your team can focus on business operations rather than infrastructure.
Compared to free community images, this listing includes24/7 expert support from cloudimg covering deployment guidance, module activation, upgrades, performance tuning, and database administration.
Application Stack
- Dolibarr 23 - latest stable release
- PHP 8.3 with OPcache and all required extensions pre-installed
- nginx web server with HTTPS-ready configuration
- MariaDB database engine
- Systemd timer running Dolibarr scheduled jobs every five minutes
Secure First Boot
On the first boot of your instance, a one-shot service generates a fresh MariaDB password and a fresh Dolibarr administrator password unique to that instance. Credentials are written to a root-only file - no shared or default passwords ship in the image. nginx is configured to support TLS so you can enable encrypted connections immediately by adding your certificate.
Ready To Use
The Dolibarr code tree, web server, and database are all configured and the install wizard is already completed and locked. Browse to the instance address and sign in to manage third parties, proposals, orders, invoices, products, stock, projects, and accounting. Dolibarr accepts requests on whatever hostname or IP address you reach it on.
External Integrations
Dolibarr's module ecosystem connects to external services you already use, including:
- Payment processors - Stripe and PayPal modules for online payment collection
- Email delivery - Amazon SES or SMTP-based providers for transactional email
- Cloud storage - Amazon S3 compatible storage for document attachments
- Accounting export - standard formats for integration with external accounting tools
Example Use Case - Small Consulting Firm
A 10-person consulting firm launches this AMI on a single EC2 instance. Within minutes the team is creating client proposals in Dolibarr, converting accepted proposals into invoices, tracking payments, and managing project time entries - all from one web interface. The pre-configured stack eliminates the need for a dedicated sysadmin, and cloudimg support handles any upgrade or configuration questions that arise.

Highlights
- Dolibarr 23 ERP and CRM fully installed with PHP 8.3, nginx, and MariaDB - the install wizard is pre-completed and locked so you skip dozens of manual configuration steps that a self-managed deployment requires. Browse to your instance address and start managing contacts, invoices, orders, stock, and projects immediately after launch. Connects to external services including Stripe, PayPal, and Amazon SES through Dolibarr's module ecosystem.
- Security-hardened first boot generates unique MariaDB and Dolibarr administrator passwords for every instance and stores them in a root-only file. Unlike default community images that ship shared credentials, this AMI ensures no two deployments share the same password. nginx is configured to support TLS for encrypted connections, protecting the sensitive financial and customer data that Dolibarr manages.
- 24/7 expert technical support from cloudimg with a one-hour average response time for critical issues. Our engineers provide Dolibarr-specific assistance including deployment guidance, module activation, version upgrades, performance tuning, and database administration - expertise that free community forums cannot guarantee on a timeline your business requires.
